[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying one day while the month of Ramadan had arrived, "If the people knew the reward of Ramadan, they would wish that Ramadan should be throughout the year." A man from the Khuzāʿah tribe asked, "O Messenger of Allah, inform us about it." He ﷺ said, "Verily, Paradise adorns itself for the month of Ramadan from the beginning of the year until Ramadan is over. When the first night of Ramadan comes, a wind blows from beneath the Throne and spreads the scent of paradise through the trees of paradise. The Hoor al-Ayn (fair maidens of paradise) look at it and exclaim, 'O Lord, grant us spouses from among Your slaves in this month, pleasing to our eyes and pleasing to them.' Allah will grant to everyone who observes fast a wife from among these beautiful eternal maidens, with each of them having seventy curtains. Every curtain is of a unique color not to be found in any other curtain, and seventy scents of perfume. Each woman will recline on a throne of a red ruby adorned with pearls, and beneath each throne there will be seventy mats made of various colored woven silk. Above the seventy mats, there will be seventy cushions, and for each woman, seventy attendants will serve, and seventy pure spouses for companionship. With each attendant, there will be a plate of gold with various types of food, each food having a different taste. The husband will also be granted the same upon a bed made of red ruby, while he will have on his arms two golden bracelets with red rubies. This is the reward for every day of fasting in the month of Ramadan, apart from any other good deeds performed."

[Machine] Abu Jabirah ibn al-Dhahak said: "This verse was revealed among us, meaning the Banu Salamah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina, and not a single one of us had only one name. Each one of us had two or three names. So when a man was called by his name, we would say, 'O Messenger of Allah, he dislikes this.' So the verse {And do not insult one another by [offensive] nicknames} was revealed."

[Machine] Among us, the Ansar, this verse was revealed: "And do not insult one another by offensive nicknames." The Prophet ﷺ came and a man had two names, and there were three others. So the Prophet ﷺ sometimes called them by some of those names, and it was said, "O Messenger of Allah, he gets angry when called by those names." So this verse was revealed: "And do not insult one another by offensive nicknames."

[Machine] The Ansar used to give charity and give whatever Allah willed, then a year passed and they stopped giving. So Allah revealed, "And do not throw yourselves with your own hands into destruction."
