“I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, in our land there are grapes which we squeeze (to make wine). Can we drink from it?’ He said: ‘No.’ I repeated the question and said: ‘We treat the sick with it.’ He said: ‘That is not a cure, it is a disease.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3500)

[Machine] Narrated from a brother of A'isha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, from her mother from the tribe of Banu Daws. He said, "I saw in a dream that I met a group of Jews, so I asked them and they asked me. So I said, 'You people are a nation, if it were not for the fact that you say that 'Uzair is the son of Allah.' They replied, 'You people are a nation, if it were not for the fact that you say, 'whatever Allah wills, and Muhammad wills.' Then I met a group of Christians, so I asked them and they asked me. So I said, 'You people are a nation, if it were not for the fact that you say that Christ is the son of Allah.' They replied, 'You people are a nation, if it were not for the fact that you say, 'whatever Allah wills, and Muhammad wills.' So I narrated this dream to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, 'Did you narrate this to anyone before me?' I said, 'Yes, O Prophet of Allah.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up on the pulpit and said, 'Indeed, your brother has seen a dream and has narrated to you what he saw. The only thing that has held me back from forbidding you from doing this is the fact that you people are modest. So when you say something, say, 'whatever Allah wills, alone.'"

[Machine] "O Prophet of Allah, what do you think about praying with a single garment?" The Prophet of Allah ﷺ then took off his Izar (lower garment) and put it on his shoulders, and he spread his Ridha (upper garment) over himself and prayed with us. After he completed his prayer, he asked, "Do any of you have two garments?"

[Machine] I came to the Prophet (peace be upon Him) and his companions while they were building the mosque. When I saw their work, I took the trowel and mixed the clay with it. He (the Prophet) seemed to be pleased with my action, so he took the trowel and they continued working. He said, "Leave the Hanafi and the clay, as it is the most suitable for you." The wording of the hadith is from Aasim ibn Ali.

When it was time for prayer, the Messenger of Allah (saw) placed his two garments together and prayed in them.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to look at the common people and say, "So and so, go bring so and so and add him." This continued until I, along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, remained as the fifth of five people. He then said to us, "Go to the house." So we went with him and entered the house of Aisha, before the veils were struck upon them. He said, "O Aisha, bring us something to eat." So she brought Habisah and we ate. Then he said, "O Aisha, bring us something to eat." So she brought Hayyisah, which was like a piece of meat, and we ate. Then he said, "O Aisha, give us something to drink." So she brought a water skin with some diah (a type of barley drink), and we drank. Then he said to us, "If you wish, you can spend the night here, or if you wish, you can go to the masjid." We said, "No, rather we will go to the masjid." And we disliked causing any trouble to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so I slept in the masjid. While I was lying on my stomach, a man came to me and moved me with his foot and said, "Move away like this, for surely Allah, the Most High, hates this sleeping position." So I looked, and behold, I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

"We went out as a delegation to the Prophet ﷺ; we gave him our oath of allegiance and prayed with him. We told him that in our land there was a church that belonged to us. We asked him to give us the leftovers of his purification (Wudu' water). So he called for water, performed Wudu' and rinsed out his mouth, then he poured it into a vessel and said to us: 'Leave, and when you return to your land, demolish your church, and sprinkle this water on that place, and take it as a Masjid.' We said: 'Our land is far away and it is very hot; the water is far away and it is very hot; the water will dry up.' He said: 'Add more water to it, for that will only make it better.' So we left and when we came to our land we demolished our church, then we sprinkled the water on that place and took it as a Masjid, and we called the Adhan in it. The monk was a man from Tayy', and when he heard the Adhan, he said: 'It is a true call.' Then he headed toward one of the hills and we never saw him again." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 701)

He also narrated another hadith, and both of them are considered authentic according to me. This is in agreement with the narrations of Busrah, Umm Habiba, Abu Hurairah, Zaid ibn Khalid al-Juhani, and others who narrated from the Prophet ﷺ the command to perform ablution after touching the private parts, as well as the abrogated and abrogating narrations.

He then gathered his lower garment and his upper garment until they touched each other, and then he prayed the Asr prayer with them. After he finished, he said, "Where is the man who asked about praying in a single garment?" The man said, "Here I am, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Does everyone find two garments?"

[Machine] We sat with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when Mukhtar bin Abd al-Qays came and said, "O Prophet of Allah, what do you think about a drink that we make from our fruits?" The Prophet ﷺ turned away from him until he asked him three times. Then, he stood and prayed with us. When he finished the prayer, he said, "Whoever asks about alcoholic drinks, do not drink it or give it to your Muslim brother. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no person has ever drunk any intoxicating drink seeking to become intoxicated, except that Allah will give him to drink from it on the Day of Resurrection."

[Machine] While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said to us, "A time will come when a people will recite the Quran, but it will not go beyond their throats like an arrow shot to its target. Blessed are those who fight against them and blessed are those who are killed by them." Then he turned to me and said, "Indeed, they will emerge in your land, O Tihamah, fighting among the rivers." I asked, "Are there rivers in my land?" He said, "There will be."
