Qays ibn Talq said: Talq ibn Ali visited us on a certain day during Ramadan. He remained with us till evening and broke fast with us. He then stood up and led us in the witr prayer. He then went to his mosque and led them in prayer. When the witr remained, he put forward another man and said: Lead your companions in the witr prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There are no two witrs during one night. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1439)

tabarani:8249ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Aḥmad b. Yūnus > Ayyūb b. ʿUtbah > Qays b. Ṭalq from his father

[Machine] A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think if one of us touches his private parts, should he perform ablution?" He ﷺ replied, "No, it is only a part of you."

(Note: This translation includes the prompt answer. Let me know if you want a translation without the answer.)

tabarani:8251al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī al-Fasawī

[Machine] Narrated by Talq bin Ali, who was among the delegation that visited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is asked about knowledge and conceals it, will be bridled on the Day of Judgment with a bridle of fire."

tabarani:8252al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī al-Fasawī > Ḥammād b. Muḥammad > Ayyūb b. ʿUtbah > Qays b. Ṭalq from his father

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever touches his private parts should perform ablution." This hadith has only been narrated by Hammad ibn Muhammad from Ayyub ibn 'Utbah. He also narrated another hadith, and both of them are considered authentic according to me. It is possible that he heard the first hadith from the Prophet ﷺ before this, and then heard this one afterwards. This is in agreement with the narrations of Busrah, Umm Habiba, Abu Hurairah, Zaid ibn Khalid al-Juhani, and others who narrated from the Prophet ﷺ the command to perform ablution after touching the private parts, as well as the abrogated and abrogating narrations.

tabarani:8253[Chain 1] al-Miqdām b. Dāwud > Asad b. Mūsá [Chain 2] ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Aḥmad b. Yūnus > Ayyūb b. ʿUtbah > Qays b. Ṭalq from his father

[Machine] A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "O Messenger of Allah, can one of us pray in a single garment?" He remained silent until the time for the Asr prayer came. He then gathered his lower garment and his upper garment until they touched each other, and then he prayed the Asr prayer with them. After he finished, he said, "Where is the man who asked about praying in a single garment?" The man said, "Here I am, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Does everyone find two garments?"
