عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ

tabarani:8245 – ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Ḥajjāj b. al-Minhāl > Mulāzim b. ʿAmr > ʿAbdullāh b. Badr > Qays b. Ṭalq from his father > a man

[Machine] "O Prophet of Allah, what do you think about praying with a single garment?" The Prophet of Allah ﷺ then took off his Izar (lower garment) and put it on his shoulders, and he spread his Ridha (upper garment) over himself and prayed with us. After he completed his prayer, he asked, "Do any of you have two garments?"  

الطبراني:٨٢٤٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا مُلَازِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ

يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ مَا تَرَى فِي الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ؟ «فَأَطْلَقَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ إِزَارَهُ فَطَارَقَ رِدَاءَهُ فَاشْتَمَلَ بِهِمَا وَصَلَّى بِنَا» فَلَمَّا قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ «أَكُلُّكُمْ يَجِدُ ثَوْبَيْنِ؟»

We came to the Prophet ﷺ, and a man came and said: Prophet of Allah, what do you say if one prays in a single garment? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then took off his wrapper and combined it with his sheet, and put it on them. He got up and the Prophet of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer. When he finished the prayer, he said: Does every one of you have two garments?  

أبو داود:٦٢٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُلاَزِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَنَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَدِمْنَا عَلَى نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ مَا تَرَى فِي الصَّلاَةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ قَالَ فَأَطْلَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِزَارَهُ طَارَقَ بِهِ رِدَاءَهُ فَاشْتَمَلَ بِهِمَا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى بِنَا نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا أَنْ قَضَى الصَّلاَةَ قَالَ أَوَكُلُّكُمْ يَجِدُ ثَوْبَيْنِ

[Machine] He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about praying in a single garment. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ released his izār and covered himself with his robe, then he stood up and prayed. When he finished the prayer, he said, "Does any of you have two garments?"  

أحمد:١٦٢٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُلَازِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَدْرٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ فَأَطْلَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِزَارَهُ فَطَارَقَ بِهِ رِدَاءَهُ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ كُلُّكُمْ يَجِدُ ثَوْبَيْنِ؟

"جَاءَ رَجُل فَقَالَ: يَا نَبىَّ الله مَا تَرَى فِى الصَّلاَةِ في ثَوْب وَاحِدٍ؟ فَانْطلَقَ (*) النَّبِىُّ ﷺ إِزَارَهُ فَطَارَقَ بِهِ رِدَاءَهُ ثُمَّ اشْتَمَلَ بِهِمَا، ثُمَّ صَلّى بِنَا، فَلَما قَضَى الصَّلاَةَ، قَالَ: أكلُّكم يَجِدُ ثَوبَيْن؟ ".
