عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ

[Machine] So he entered and we also entered. I presented him with Thareed (a traditional Arabian dish), meat, and wine, so he ate and drank, and he did not dislike me, so I ate and drank with him. Indeed, I fear the morning. Then he said: My father told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Eat and drink and do not hesitate because of the bright dawn appearing, and eat and drink until the redness of the horizon is visible to you", and he pointed with his hand.  

الطبراني:٨٢٥٧حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ ثنا مُلَازِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ أَتَانِي قَيْسُ بْنُ طَلْقٍ فِي رَمَضَانَ وَقَدْ رَفَعْتُ يَدَيَّ مِنْ سُحُورِي بِخَوْفِ الصُّبْحِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ يَا عَمَّاهُ لَوْ كَانَ بَقِيَ عَلَيْكَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ شَيْءٌ أَدْخَلْتُكَ فَأَكَلْتَ طَعَامًا عِنْدِي وَشَرَابًا قَالَ

فَأُدْخِلَ فَدَخَلْنَا فَقَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْهِ ثَرِيدًا وَلَحْمًا وَنَبِيذًا فَأَكَلَ وَشَرِبَ وَأَكْرَهَنِي فَأَكَلْتُ مَعَهُ وَشَرِبْتُ وَإِنِّي أَوْجَلُ مِنَ الصُّبْحِ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَلَا يَهِيدَنَّكُمُ السَّاطِعُ الْمُصْعِدُ وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يَعْتَرِضَ لَكُمُ الْأَحْمَرُ» وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ
