Messenger of Allah ﷺ said "If there is any evil omen in anything, then it is in the woman, the horse and the house."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَىْءٍ فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ

Evil omen was mentioned before the Prophet: The Prophet ﷺ said, "If there is evil omen in anything, it is in the house, the woman and the horse."

ذَكَرُوا الشُّؤْمَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنْ كَانَ الشُّؤْمُ فِي شَىْءٍ فَفِي الدَّارِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If at all there is bad omen, it is in the horse, the woman, and the house."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَىْءٍ فَفِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ

If there is bad luck in anything, it is the horse, the abode and the woman.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنْ كَانَ الشُّؤْمُ فِي شَىْءٍ فَفِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ

If bad luck were to be in anything, it is found in the woman, the horse and the abode.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنْ كَانَ فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ يَعْنِي الشُّؤْمَ

the Messenger of Allah said: "If it exists, it is in three things: a horse, and woman and a house," meaning omens.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنْ كَانَ الشُّؤْمُ فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ

Malik related to me from Abu Hazim ibn Dinar from Sahl ibn Sad as-Saidi that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If it exists, it is in a horse, a woman, and a house," meaning ill luck.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنْ كَانَ فَفِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ يَعْنِي الشُّؤْمَ

If there is bad luck in anything, it is the horse, the abode and the woman. (Using translation from Muslim 2225f)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ فَفِي الرَّبْعِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ» يَعْنِي الشُّؤْمَ

[AI] He heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "There is no harm, but if there is a harm, it is in horses, women, and dwellings."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا شُؤْمَ وَإِنْ يَكُ شُؤْمٌ فَفِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "If there is anything (to cause disruption), it is found in three things: a woman, a house, and a horse."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ وَالْفَرَسِ»

[AI] Al-Qa'nabiy narrated that Malik narrated from Abu Hazim from Sahl ibn Saad al-Sa'idi that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "People will always be in goodness as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast."

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَزَالُ النَّاسُ بِخَيْرٍ مَا عَجَّلُوا الْفِطْرَ»

[AI] It was narrated by Al-Qa'nabi from Malik from Abu Hazim from Sahl bin Sa'd that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If there is any omen, it is in a horse, a woman, and a dwelling."

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنْ كَانَ فَفِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ» يَعْنِي الشُّؤْمَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنْ يَكُنِ الشُّؤْمُ فِي شَيْءٍ فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالدَّارِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to say, "If there is evil in anything, it is in women, houses, and horses."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ الشُّؤْمُ قَالَ «إِنْ يَكُنْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ وَالْفَرَسِ»

[AI] I heard Sahl bin Saad say that the Prophet ﷺ mentioned bad omens and said, "If there is anything in it, it is in women, houses, and horses."

سَمِعْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ يَقُولُ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الشُّؤْمُ فَقَالَ «إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ وَالْفَرَسِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ mentioned evil omens and said, "If there is anything, it is in the dwelling, horses, and women."

ذُكِرَ الشُّؤْمُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ فَفِي الْمَسْكَنِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ»

[AI] We used to say, "If there is something that signifies bad luck, it is in the dwelling, the woman, and the horse."

كُنَّا نَقُولُ «إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ يَعْنِي الشُّؤْمَ فَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْكَنِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ»

[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: 'If there is evil in anything, it is in women, horses, and houses.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنْ يَكُنِ الشُّؤْمُ فِي شَيْءٍ فَفِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالدَّارِ»

" عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: ذُكِرَ الشُّؤْمُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ ، فَقَالَ: إِنْ كَانَ فِى شَىْءٍ فَفِى الْمَرْأَةِ، وَالْمَسْكَنِ، وَالْفَرَسِ ".
