Collected by Ibn Mājah, Aḥmad, Ḥākim, Ṭabarānī, Nasāʾī's Kubrá, SuyūṭīAbu Bakr and 'Umar gave him the glad tidings that the Messenger of Allah had said: "Whoever would like to recite the Qur'an as fresh as when it was revealed, let him recite it like Ibn Umm 'Abd.'"
