٦٦۔ كتاب فضائل القرآن

66.32 Whoever likes to hear the Qur'an from another person

٦٦۔٣٢ باب مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَسْمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ مِنْ غَيْرِهِ

bukhari:5049ʿUmar b. Ḥafṣ b. Ghiyāth from my father > al-Aʿmash > Ibrāhīm > ʿAbīdah > ʿAbdullāh

That the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Recite the Qur'an to me." ʿAbdullah said, "Shall I recite (the Qur'an) to you while it has been revealed to you?" He said, "I like to hear it from others."  

البخاري:٥٠٤٩حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ

لِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ اقْرَأْ عَلَىَّ الْقُرْآنَ قُلْتُ آقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَيْكَ أُنْزِلَ قَالَ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَسْمَعَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِي
