[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah in one night, they will suffice him." Abdul Rahman said, "So I met Abu Mas'ood and he narrated it to me."

If anyone recites the two verses at the end of Surah al-Baqara at night, they would suffice for him 'Abd al-Rahman said: I met Abu Mas'ud and he was circumambulating the House (of Allah) and asked him about this (tradition) and he narrated it to me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever recites the last two Verses of Surat Al-Baqarah at night, that will be sufficient for him.” In his narration (one of the narrators) Hafs said: “ʿAbdur-Rahman said: ‘I met Abu Masʿud when he was performing Tawaf, and he narrated this to me.’”  

ابن ماجة:١٣٦٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ وَأَسْبَاطُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ
