the Messenger of Allah forbade artificially inflating prices, meeting traders on the way, and for a town-dweller to sell for a desert-dweller." (Sahih )

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنِ النَّجْشِ وَالتَّلَقِّي وَأَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

No Muslim should offer more for a thing already bought by his Muslim brother, nor should he demand the hand of a girl already engaged to another Muslim. عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَلَقَّوُا الْجَلَبَ وَلَا يَبِعْ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ الْبِرُّ الصِّيَامَ فِي السَّفَرِ

أَنَّ النَّبيَّ ﷺ قَال لاَ يَبِعْ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ؛ أَنَّه نَهَى عَن الْقَزَعِ

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ لا يبيعن حاضر لباد

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ؛ أَنَّه نهى أن يبيع حاضر لباد

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ أنه نهى عن بيع الغرر وعَن بيع الحصي

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

The riders (carrying merchandise) should not be met in the way, and townsman should not sell for a man of the desert. The narrator reported. I said to Ibn 'Abbas: What do these words really imply-" The townsman for the man of the desert"? He said: That he should work as a broker on his behalf. (Using translation from Muslim 1521)
