The Prophet ﷺ said, "O followers of Muhammad! By Allah, if you knew what I know, you would weep much and laugh little."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاللَّهِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا وَلَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلاً

Abu-l-Qasim (the Prophet) said, "By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, if you know that which I know, you would weep much and laugh little."

أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا وَلَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلاً

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you knew that which I know you would laugh little and weep much."

أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ كَانَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلاً وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If you knew that which I know, you would laugh little and weep much."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلاً وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا

"If you knew what I know, then you would laugh little and you would cry much."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلاً وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ

“If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلاً وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا

“If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4191)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَاأَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If you knew that which I know, you would laugh little and weep much." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6486)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا

I heard Abū al-Qāsim ﷺ say, "If you ˹only˺ knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep a lot, thus attempt moderation ˹in your actions as you˺ rejoice."

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا وَلَكِنْ سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا۔»

“If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4191)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا»

[Machine] "He heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, 'The Fire has been stoked and Paradise has been brought near. O people of the chambers, if you knew what I know, then you would laugh a little and weep much.'"

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «سُعِّرَتِ النَّارُ وَأُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ يَا أَهْلَ الْحُجُرَاتِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If you knew that which I know, you would laugh little and weep much." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6486)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "O followers of Muhammad! By Allah, if you knew what I know, you would weep much and laugh little." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6631)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَا أُمَّةََ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاللهِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If you knew that which I know, you would laugh little and weep much." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6486)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا

[Machine] The sun eclipsed during the time of the Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ speech until it said, "So he said, 'By Allah, if you knew what I knew, you would laugh a little and weep a lot.'"

خَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى أَنْ قَالَتْ فَقَالَ وَاللهِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا

[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, if you knew what I know, you would have wept much and laughed little."

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْ تَعْلمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا وَلَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلا ولبكيتم كثيرا

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ ما أعلم لصحكتم قليلا ولبكيتم كثرا

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا وَلَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلا

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you knew that which I know you would laugh little and weep much." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6485)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "If you knew that which I know, you would laugh little and weep much." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6486)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا»

"لَوْ تَعْلَمْونَ مَا أعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُم قَلِيلًا، وَلَبَكَيتُم كَثِيرًا، وَلَمَا سَاغَ لَكُم الطعَامُ والشَّرابُ".

"لَوْ تَعْلَمُون مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحكْتُم قَلِيلًا، وَلَبَكَيتُم كَثِيرًا".

"سُعِّرَتِ النَّارُ، وَأُزلِفَتِ الْجَنةُ، يَا أَهْلَ الحُجُراتِ: لَوْ تَعْلَمونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُم قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا".

"سُعِّرَتِ النَّارِ لأَهْلِ النَّار، وَجَاءَت الْفِتَنُ كَقِطَع اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِم، لَوْ تَعْلَمُون مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا".
