bukhari:5221 – ʿAbdullāh b. Maslamah > Mālik > Hishām from his father > ʿĀʾishah

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O followers of Muhammad! There is none, who has a greater sense of Ghira (self-respect) than Allah, so He has forbidden that His slave commits illegal sexual intercourse or His slave girl commits illegal sexual intercourse. O followers of Muhammad! If you but knew what I know, you would laugh less and weep more!"  

البخاري:٥٢٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَا أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ مَا أَحَدٌ أَغْيَرَ مِنَ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَرَى عَبْدَهُ أَوْ أَمَتَهُ تَزْنِي يَا أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلاً وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "O followers of Muhammad! By Allah, if you knew what I know, you would weep much and laugh little."  

البخاري:٦٦٣١ – حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاللَّهِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا وَلَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلاً  

ahmad:8124 –

“If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4191)   

أحمد:٨١٢٤ –

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا  

nasai-kubra:11768 – Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Mālik > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

The Prophet ﷺ said, "O followers of Muhammad! By Allah, if you knew what I know, you would weep much and laugh little." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6631)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَا أُمَّةََ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاللهِ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلًا وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا»
