The Prophet ﷺ said, "This is a mountain that loves us and is loved by us."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ

When the mountain of Uhud appeared before Messenger of Allah ﷺ he said, "This IS a mountain that loves us and is loved by us. O, Allah! Abraham made Mecca a Sanctuary, and I have made Medina (i.e. the area between its two mountains) a Sanctuary as well."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي حَرَّمْتُ مَا بَيْنَ لاَبَتَيْهَا

The Mountain of Uhud came in sight of Messenger of Allah ﷺ who then said, "This is a mountain that loves us and is loved by us. O Allah! Abraham made Mecca a sanctuary and I make the area between its (Medina's) two mountains a sanctuary."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لاَبَتَيْهَا

Uhud is a mountain which loves us and which we love.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أُحُدًا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ

" Messenger of Allah ﷺ cast a glance at Uhud and said: Uhud is a mountain which loves us and we love it."

نَظَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى أُحُدٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أُحُدًا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect as mentioned by Sufyan. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4540)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ الْحَدِيثِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أُحُدًا هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ mentioned Uhud and said, "A mountain that loves us and we love it."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ذَكَرَ أُحُدًا فَقَالَ جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ

that (mount) Uhud appeared to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ so he said: "This mountain loves us and we love it. O Allah! Indeed Ibrahim made Makkah sacred, and I make sacred whatever is between its (i.e. Al-Madinah) two lava tracts." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3922)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ اللهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَإِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا

This tradition has also been transmitted by Sa'd (b. Abi Waqqas) from the Prophet ﷺ in a similar manner through a different chain of narrators. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1470)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Amr, the mawla of al-Muttalib from Anas ibn Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Uhud and said, "This is a mountain which loves us and we love it. O Allah! Ibrahim made Makka Haram, and I will make what is between the two tracts of black stones (in Madina) a Haram."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَرَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَأَنَا أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لاَبَتَيْهَا

Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in view of Uhud and said, "This is a mountain which loves us and we love it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ

[AI] Ibn Hibban said it cannot be used as evidence.

قال ابن حبان لا يحتج به

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Usama is the dearest person to me."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أُسَامَةُ أَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ»

" Messenger of Allah ﷺ cast a glance at Uhud and said: Uhud is a mountain which loves us and we love it." (Using translation from Muslim 1393b)

نَظَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى أُحُدٍ وَقَالَ «إِنَّ أُحُدًا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ»

أَنَّ النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَالَ أُحُدٌ جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَن أَنَسٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يتفرقا وَهَذَا الحديثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ من غير وجه ثمامة بن حزن

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ وَهَذَا الحديثُ قد رواه عن يونس غير واحد

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Usama is the dearest person to me."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أُسَامَةُ أَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَيَّ»

"اللهُ أكبَرُ، أُحُدُ جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنا ونحبُّهُ ".

"عَنْ أنَسٍ قَالَ: طَلَعَ عَلَيْنَا أُحُدٌ وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ فَقَالَ: هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبنا وَنُحبُّهُ".

"عَنْ عُرَوَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ طَلَعَ لَهُ أُحُدٌ فَقَالَ: هَذَا جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحِبُّهُ".

"عَنْ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذا رَأى أُحُدًا قَالَ: هَذَا جَبَل يُحِبُّنَا وَنُحَبُّهُ".
