“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: ‘Should I not teach you some words that if you say them, Allah will forgive you, even if you were already forgiven?’ He said: ‘Say: None has the right to be worshipped by Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent. None has the right to be worshipped by Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Glory to Allah, the Lord of the Magnificent Throne. (Lā ilāha illallāhul-ʿaliyul-ʿaẓīm, lā ilāha illallāhul-ḥalīmul-karīm, lā ilāha illallāh, subḥān Allāhi rabbil-ʿarshil-ʿaẓīm.)’”

لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَلاَ أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَاتٍ إِذَا قُلْتَهُنَّ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ مَغْفُورًا لَكَ قَالَ قُلْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ بِمِثْلِ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي آخِرِهَا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

The Messenger of Allah ؓ said: ʿShall I not teach you some words which, if you say them you will be forgiven, even though you are already forgiven: There is no god but Allah, Most High, the Almighty; there is no god but Him, the most Forbearing the Most Generous; glory be to Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne; praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.”

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Shall I not teach you words that, if you say them, you will be forgiven, even if it was decreed for you to be forgiven? They are: La Ilaha Illa Allah, Al-Halim, Al-Kareem, La Ilaha Illa Allah, Al-Aliyyu Al-Azheem, Subhan Allah, Rabbil Aalameen, Subhan Allah, Rabbi As-Samawati As-Sabi'i Wa Rabbil Arshil-Azheem, Alhamdulillah, Rabbil Aalameen."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ يَا عَلِيُّ «أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَاتٍ إِذَا أَنْتَ قُلْتَهُنَّ غُفِرَ لَكَ مَعَ أَنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَكَ؟» تَقُولُ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ»

[Machine] "The words of relief, there is no god but Allah, the Exalted, the Mighty. There is no god but Allah, the Forbearing, the Generous. Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the Great Throne. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds." [419] 8359 It was reported to us by Ahmad ibn Uthman ibn Hakim, who said: Abu Ghasan informed us, who said: Israel narrated to us from Abu Ishaq, who said: Abdur Rahman ibn Abi Layla narrated to us from Ali, from the Prophet ﷺ, towards him, meaning towards the narration of Khalid.

«كَلِمَاتُ الْفَرَجِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ» [419] 8359 أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ نَحْوَهُ يَعْنِي نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ خَالِدٍ

اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَاتٍ إِذَا قُلْتَهُنَّ غُفِرَ لَكَ عَلَى أَنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رَوَاهُ غَيْرُ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ

"أَلا أُعلِّمُكَ كللمات إِذا قلتَهُنَّ غفر اللَّه لك وإِن كنت مغفورًا لك؟ قلْ: لا إِله إِلا اللَّه العلىُّ العظيم، لا إِله إِلا اللَّهُ الحكيمُ الكريمُ، لا إِله إِلا اللَّهُ سبحانَ اللَّهِ ربِّ السمواتِ السبع وربِّ العرشِ العظيم، الحمد للَّه ربِّ العَالَمِينَ ".

"عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: قَالَ: قَالَ لِى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : أَلاَ أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَاتٍ إِذَا قُلتَهُنَّ غُفِرَ لَكَ؟ وَفِى لَفْظٍ: غُفِرَتْ ذُنُوبُكَ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَد البَحْرِ، أوْ: مِثْلَ عَدَد الذَّرِّ مَعَ أَنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لكَ: لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله الحَلِيمُ الكَرِيمُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا العَلِىَّ العَظِيمُ، سُبْحَانَ رَبًّ السَّمَواتِ السَّبعْ وَرَبِّ العَرْشِ الكَرِيم، وَالحَمْدُ لله رَبِّ العَالَمِينَ".

"يَا عَلِيُّ: أَلاَ أُعَلِّمُكَ كلمَاتٍ إِذَا قُلتَهُنَّ غُفِرَ لَكَ عَلَى أنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَكَ؟ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله العَلِىُّ العَظِيمُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ الله الحَكِيمُ الكَرِيمُ، سُبْحَانَ الله رَبِّ السمَوَاتِ السَّبع وَرَبِّ العَرْشِ العَظِيم، وَالحَمْدُ لله رَبِّ العَالَمِينَ".

"عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: قَالَ لِى النَّبىُّ ﷺ أَلَا أُعَلِّمُكَ كَلِمَاتٍ إِذَا أَنْتَ قُلْتَهُنَّ غَفَرَ الله لَكَ مَعَ أَنَّهُ مَغْفُورٌ لَكَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ الْحَلِيمُ الْكَرِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ الْعَلِىُّ الْعَظيمُ، سُبْحَانَ الله رَبَّ السَّمَوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبِّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، الْحَمْدُ لله رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ".
