Why are you coming late to the prayer? The man said: As soon as I heard the call, I did wudoo’. He said: Did you not also hear that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿBefore one of you goes to Jumu'ah, let him do ghusl?ʿ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا رَاحَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ ؟

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a khutbah and said: 'When any one of you wants to go to Jumu'ah, let him perform ghusl.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1405)

خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِذَا رَاحَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ : When one of you goes to Friday prayer, let them perform the ritual purification (washing).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذَا رَاحَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Anyone of you attending the Friday (prayers) should take a bath." (Using translation from Bukhārī 877)

"إذا أتى أحدُكم الجمعَة فلَيَغْتَسِلْ".

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Anyone of you attending the Friday (prayers) should take a bath." (Using translation from Bukhārī 877)

"إذَا جَاءَ أحدُكُمْ الجُمُعةَ فليغتَسِلْ" .

When any one of you intends to come for Jumu'a prayer, he should take a bath. (Using translation from Muslim 844a)

"إذَا أراد أحدُكم أنْ يأتى الجمعةَ فلْيغتسلْ".
