[Machine] I asked Anas, "Which garment was most beloved to the Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "The Hibara."  

أحمد:١٢٩٠٥ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ أَيُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ

I asked Anas, "What kind of clothes was most beloved to the Prophet?" He replied, "The Hibra (a kind of Yemenese cloth).

The most beloved garment to the Prophet ﷺ to wear was the Hibra (a kind of Yemenese cloth).

We asked Anas b. Malik which garment did Messenger of Allah may peace be upon him) love or like (to wear). He said: The mantle of Yemen.  

مسلم:٢٠٧٩a – حَدَّثَنَا هَدَّابُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ

قُلْنَا لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَىُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَوْ أَعْجَبَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ  

abudawud:4060 – Hudbah b. Khālid al-Azdī > Hammām > Qatādah

We asked Anas b. Malik: Which cloth was dearer to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? or Which cloth did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ like best to wear ? He replied: The striped cloaks (hibrah).  

أبو داود:٤٠٦٠ – حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

قُلْنَا لأَنَسٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَالِكٍ أَىُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَوْ أَعْجَبَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ  

ahmad:14108 – ʿAlī b. ʿAbdullāh > Muʿādh b. Hishām from my father > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik

"The garment the Messenger ﷺ like most to wear was the Hibrah." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1787)  

أحمد:١٤١٠٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ أَحَبَّ الثِّيَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَلْبَسَهَا الْحِبَرَةُ

أحمد:١٣٦٢٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ أَيُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ أَوْ أَعْجَبَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ  

ahmad:12377 – Bahz And ʿAffān > Hammām > Qatādah

[Machine] I asked Anas, "Which clothing was the most liked?" He replied, "The plain white garment or the one dearest to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." The scribe said,  

أحمد:١٢٣٧٧ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ أَيُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَعْجَبَ؟ قَالَ عَفَّانُ أَوْ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ  

hakim:7200 – Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb Imlāʾ And Qirāʾah > Aḥmad b. Shaybān al-Ramlī > Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah > Maʿmar > al-Zuhrī > ʿUrwah > ʿĀʾishah

"The drink most beloved to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the sweet, cool drink." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1895)  

الحاكم:٧٢٠٠ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ إِمْلَاءً وَقِرَاءَةً ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ الرَّمْلِيُّ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«كَانَ أَحَبُّ الشَّرَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْحُلْوَ الْبَارِدَ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ عِنْدَ الْيَمَانِيِّينَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ على شرط البخاري ومسلم

ذِكْرُ مَا كَانَ يُحِبُّ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ

ibnhibban:6396 – al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān And ʾAbū Yaʿlá > Hudbah b. Khālid > Hammām > Qatādah

We asked Anas b. Malik: Which cloth was dearer to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? or Which cloth did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ like best to wear ? He replied: The striped cloaks (hibrah). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4060)   

ابن حبّان:٦٣٩٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ

قُلْنَا لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَيُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «الْحِبَرَةُ»
