[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Indeed, the master of all drinks in this world and the hereafter is water."
the Messenger of Allah said: “Indeed the first of what will be asked about on the Day of Judgment – meaning the slave (of Allah) being questioned about the favors – is that it will be said to him: ‘Did We not make your body, health, and give you of cool water to drink?’” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3358)
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to have pure water brought to him from the wells of Al-Suqya."
It is more thirst- quenching, healthier and more wholesome. Anas said: So I also breathe three times in the course of a drink. (Using translation from Muslim 2028b)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade blowing or breathing into a vessel. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3728)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should breathe into a vessel when drinking from it. However, if one desires to breathe, let him delay it and then breathe."
[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated that he read from Malik, from Ayub ibn Habib, a freed slave of Banu Zuhrah, from Abu Al-Muthanna Al-Juhani who said, "I was sitting with Marwan ibn Al-Hakam when Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri entered. Marwan said to him, 'Did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit blowing into a drink?' He replied, 'Yes.' Then a man said, 'I only quench my thirst with one breath.' Abu Sa'id said, 'Pour the water into the cup and then breathe.' The man asked, 'But what if I see dirt in it?' He replied, 'Pour it out.'"
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ asked for water, so I brought him some water which had a hair in it. I took out the hair and the Prophet ﷺ said, "O Allah, make it beautiful." I then noticed that he was only ninety-four years old and did not have a single white hair on his head.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was once brought some water with sins in it, so he spat in it while standing and then drank from it.
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ prohibited drinking from the water container, as it is harmful."
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade tipping up water skins. After the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had forbidden that, a man got up at night and tipped up a water skin, and a snake fell out of it onto him.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3419)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade drinking from stagnant water. Ayyub narrated, "I was informed that a man drank from stagnant water and then a snake came out." This hadeeth is authentic according to the conditions of Al-Bukhari, but he did not include it in his collection.
[Machine] He informed me that the Prophet ﷺ used to say, "Secure the water containers and close the doors when you go to sleep at night, cover the drinks and food, for indeed the devil enters if he finds a door open, and if he does not find water covered, he drinks from it. And if he finds the door closed and the vessel covered, he cannot open the door nor drink from the vessel. And if any of you does not have something to cover his vessel with, then he should place a stick over it." This hadith has a sound chain of narrators and Al-Bukhari and Muslim did not include it in their collections.
"I used to cover three vessels for the Messenger of Allah at night: A vessel (of water) for his ablution, a vessel for his tooth stick and a vessel for his drink." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 361)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter, and whoever drinks wine in this world will not drink it in the Hereafter, and whoever drinks from vessels of gold and silver in this world will not drink from them in the Hereafter." Then he said, "The clothing of the people of Paradise, the drink of the people of Paradise, and the vessels of the people of Paradise."
during the campaign of Tabuk, the Prophet of Allah called for water from a woman. She said: "I only have a waterskin of mine made from an (unslaughtered) dead animal." He said: "Didn't you tan it?" She said: "Of course." He said: "Then it's tanning is its slaughter". (Daif) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4243)
[Machine] Regarding the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Raisins and dates are indeed wine." This means when they are fermented together.
[Machine] The prohibition of alcohol was revealed in two tribes from the Ansar, they drank until they became drunk and some of them started to harm each other. When they woke up, a man noticed the effect on his face, head, and beard, so he said, "My brother so-and-so did this to me. By Allah, if he was kind and compassionate, he wouldn't have done this to me." They were brothers without any grudges in their hearts, but these grudges entered their hearts. So Allah revealed the verse, "Indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful." (Quran 5:90) until His saying, "So will you not desist?" (Quran 5:91). Some people, known as the "mukallifeen", said that it is impure and it exists in the stomach of so-and-so who was killed in the Battle of Badr, and so-and-so who was killed in the Battle of Uhud. So Allah revealed the verse, "There is not upon those who believe and do righteousness [any] blame concerning what they have eaten." (Quran 5:93) until it reached, "And Allah loves the doers of good." (Quran 3:134) on the condition of a Muslim.

[Machine] A man from the Ansar invited us before the prohibition of alcohol. Abdur-Rahman ibn Awf led us in Maghrib prayer and recited Surah Al-Kafirun. He made a mistake in his recitation and instead of saying "Qul ya ayyuhal kafirun", he said "Qul ya ayyuhal mushrikun". This confused him, so the verse was revealed: "Do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated." [Al-Nisa 43]
[Machine] "He (Referring to Abdul Rahman bin Auf) and another man were drinking alcohol, so Abdul Rahman prayed among them and recited 'Say: O disbelievers' (Surah Al-Kafirun). Then the verse 'Do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated' (Surah An-Nisa, 43) was revealed."
[Machine] He called some of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ among them Ali ibn Abi Talib, and he recited the verse: "Say, O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship" [Al-Kafirun: 2] and we worship what you worship. So Allah revealed: "O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying" [An-Nisa: 43]. "All of these chains (of narration) are authentic and the ruling is based on the hadith of Sufyan Ath-Thawri, for he is the most reliable narrator among everyone who narrated it from Ata' ibn As-Sa'ib."
[Machine] The caller of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say when he stood up for prayer: "Do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated." [Surah An-Nisa 43]
[Machine] "O Allah, make it clear to us about alcohol, so the verse was revealed: 'O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying' (Quran 4:43) until the end of the verse. The Prophet ﷺ called upon Umar and recited it to him as if he had not heard it before. Then he said, 'O Allah, make it clear to us about alcohol', so the verse was revealed: 'They ask you about wine and gambling. Say, 'In them is great sin and [yet, some] benefit for people. But their sin is greater than their benefit'' (Quran 2:219). The Prophet ﷺ called upon Umar and recited it to him as if he had not heard it before. Then he said, 'O Allah, make it clear to us about alcohol', so the verse was revealed: 'O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone altars [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it' (Quran 5:90) until 'Are you then desisting?' (Quran 5:91). Umar said, 'We have desisted, O Lord.'"

"They (the Companions) said: 'O Messenger of Allah, how do you hold those who died while they were drinking Khamr - considering that the prohibition of intoxicants is now revealed?' So, (the following) Ayah was revealed: "Those who believe and do righteous good deeds, there is no sin on them for what they ate (in the past), if they fear Allah and believe and do righteous good deeds." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3052)
[Machine] The Jews said, "Are not your brothers who have died, those who used to drink it?" So Allah revealed, {There is no blame upon those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they have eaten} [Al-Maidah: 93]. So the Prophet ﷺ said, "It was said to me that you are one of them."
[Machine] When the prohibition of alcohol was revealed, some companions of the Prophet ﷺ walked to each other and said, "Alcohol has been prohibited and it has been made unlawful for partnership."
[Machine] "He had an uncle who used to sell alcohol, but he would give the proceeds in charity. I forbade him from doing so, but he did not stop. So, I went to the city and met Ibn Abbas and asked him about alcohol and its price. He said, 'It is forbidden, and its price is also forbidden.' Then he said, 'O people of Muhammad's nation, if there was a book after your book or a prophet after your prophet, there would have been revelations sent to you, just as it was sent to those before you. But this matter has been postponed from your affairs until the Day of Judgment, and I swear by Allah, it is more difficult for you.'" (Sahih Bukhari)

[Machine] "He (Abdullah ibn Abbas) heard him (the Prophet Muhammad) saying: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that Jibril came to him and said, 'O Muhammad, indeed Allah has cursed alcohol and the one who drinks it, serves it, squeezes it (juice from grapes), carries it, the one to whom it is carried, sells it, buys it, offers it to others, and the one to whom it is offered.'"
“Whoever drinks wine in this world, he will not drink it in the Hereafter.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3374)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Avoid alcohol, as it is the key to every evil." This hadith has an authentic chain of narration, and it has not been excluded from the authentic collections.
[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever drinks wine and becomes intoxicated by it, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days. If he drinks it again until he becomes intoxicated, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days. If he drinks it a third time until he becomes intoxicated, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days. If he drinks it a fourth time and becomes intoxicated, then it is rightful for Allah to make him drink from the pus of Hell."
It was asked, "What is the pus of Hell?" He ﷺ said, "It is the discharge of the people of Hell."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever abandons the prayer while drunk once, it is as if he has lost this world and what is in it. Whoever abandons the prayer while drunk four times, it is the right of Allah the Almighty to make him drink the essence of Al-Khabal (a foul fluid). It was asked, 'What is the essence of Al-Khabal?' He ﷺ said, 'It is the essence of the people of Hellfire.'"
[Machine] Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ said: "There are three types of people who will not enter Paradise: the habitual drinker of alcohol, the one who cuts off ties of kinship, and the one who believes in magic. And whoever dies as a habitual drinker of alcohol, Allah will feed him from the river of Ghautah." It was asked, "What is the river of Ghautah?" He replied, "It is a river that flows from the private parts of the adulterers, causing harm to the people of Hellfire through the foul smell emitting from their private parts."

[Machine] "From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: There are three types of people whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Judgment: an disobedient child to their parents, a habitual drinker of alcohol, and someone who gives to others expecting something in return."
[Machine] Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, Umar ibn Al-Khattab, and some of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, sat together after the death of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. They discussed the greatest sins, but they did not have knowledge about them. So, they sent me to Abdullah ibn Amr to ask him about it. He informed me that the greatest of sins is drinking alcohol. I went back to them and informed them, but they denied it and disputed with me until they went to Abdullah ibn Amr's house. I informed him about their denial, and he told them that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "There was a man from the Children of Israel who was given the choice to either drink alcohol, kill someone, commit adultery, eat pork, or be killed. If he refused, they would kill him. So, he chose to drink alcohol. After he drank it, he did not refrain from anything they wanted from him." The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, also said to us, "Anyone who drinks alcohol, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty nights, and if he dies within forty nights, he will die the way a pre-Islamic pagan dies."

[Machine] Abu Muslim Al-Khawlanii performed Hajj and visited Aisha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, who asked him about Sham (Syria) and its cold weather. He informed her about it, and she asked how they could endure such cold. He replied, "O Mother of the Believers, they drink a special drink called Al-Tala." She said, "May Allah be truthful and may my love for the Prophet ﷺ reach Him." I heard him say, "Some people from my Ummah drink alcohol without calling it by its proper name."

[Machine] About Maryam bint Tariq, a woman from her people said, "I was among a group of immigrant women who performed Hajj. We entered upon Aisha, the mother of the believers. She said, the women started asking her about certain matters. She said, 'O women, indeed you remember some matters that were numerous during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . So, fear Allah and avoid what intoxicates you, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Every intoxicant is prohibited, and if a large quantity of anything causes intoxication, a small amount of it is also prohibited.'"
