hakim:7226Aḥmad b. Kāmil al-Qāḍī

[Machine] The Jews said, "Are not your brothers who have died, those who used to drink it?" So Allah revealed, {There is no blame upon those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they have eaten} [Al-Maidah: 93]. So the Prophet ﷺ said, "It was said to me that you are one of them."  

الحاكم:٧٢٢٦حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعَوْفِيُّ ثَنَا أَبِي سَعْدِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ قَرْمٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ

قَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ أَلَيْسَ إِخْوَانُكُمُ الَّذِينَ مَاتُوا كَانُوا يَشْرَبُونَهَا؟ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ ﷻ {لَيْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتٍ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَا طَعِمُوا} [المائدة 93] فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «قِيلَ لِي أَنْتَ مِنْهُمْ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ إِنَّمَا اتَّفَقَا عَلَى حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ مُخْتَصَرًا هَذَا الْمَعْنَى صحيح

[Machine] When alcohol was prohibited, they said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about our companions who passed away while drinking it?" So Allah revealed, "There is no blame upon those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they have eaten." [Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5:93]

[Machine] When the prohibition of alcohol was revealed, they said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about our brothers who have died while drinking it?" So the following verse was revealed, "There is no blame upon those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they have eaten [in the past]" [Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:93], until the end of the verse.

"They (the Companions) said: 'O Messenger of Allah, how do you hold those who died while they were drinking Khamr - considering that the prohibition of intoxicants is now revealed?' So, (the following) Ayah was revealed: "Those who believe and do righteous good deeds, there is no sin on them for what they ate (in the past), if they fear Allah and believe and do righteous good deeds." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3052)
