bukhari:5812 – ʿAmr b. ʿĀṣim > Hammām > Qatādah > Anas

I asked Anas, "What kind of clothes was most beloved to the Prophet?" He replied, "The Hibra (a kind of Yemenese cloth).

Anas reported that the garment most liked by Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the mantle of Yemen.  

مسلم:٢٠٧٩b – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ أَحَبَّ الثِّيَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْحِبَرَةُ  

nasai:5315 – ʿAbdullāh b. Saʿīd > Muʿādh b. Hishām from my father > Qatādah > Anas

"The most beloved of garments to the Prophet of Allah [SAW] was the Hibarah."  

النسائي:٥٣١٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ أَحَبُّ الثِّيَابِ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْحِبَرَةَ  

ahmad:12905 – Wakīʿ > Hammām > Qatādah

[Machine] I asked Anas, "Which garment was most beloved to the Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "The Hibara."

We asked Anas b. Malik which garment did Messenger of Allah may peace be upon him) love or like (to wear). He said: The mantle of Yemen. (Using translation from Muslim 2079a)   

أحمد:١٣٦٢٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ أَيُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَحَبَّ أَوْ أَعْجَبَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ  

ahmad:12377 – Bahz And ʿAffān > Hammām > Qatādah

[Machine] I asked Anas, "Which clothing was the most liked?" He replied, "The plain white garment or the one dearest to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." The scribe said,  

أحمد:١٢٣٧٧ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِأَنَسٍ أَيُّ اللِّبَاسِ كَانَ أَعْجَبَ؟ قَالَ عَفَّانُ أَوْ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ الْحِبَرَةُ  

nasai-kubra:9568 – ʿUbaydullāh b. Saʿīd > Muʿādh b. Hishām from my father > Qatādah > Anas
