adab:772 –

Anas reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saw a man driving a sacrificial camel. "Ride it," he told him. The man replied, "It is a sacrificial camel." "Ride it," he repeated. The man said again, "It is a sacrificial camel." "Ride it," he repeated. The man said, "It is a sacrificial camel." The Prophet said, "Ride it, and woe to you!"  

الأدب المفرد:٧٧٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلاً يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً فَقَالَ ارْكَبْهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا وَيْلَكَ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man driving his Badana (sacrificial camel). He said, "Ride on it." The man said, "It is a Badana." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Ride on it." He (the man) said, "It is a Badana." The Prophet said, "Ride on it." And on the second or the third time he (the Prophet ﷺ ) added, "Woe to you."  

البخاري:١٦٨٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلاً يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً فَقَالَ ارْكَبْهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ فَقَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا وَيْلَكَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ

The Prophet ﷺ saw a man driving a Badana. He said, "Ride on it." The man replied, "It is a Badana." The Prophet ﷺ said (again), "Ride on it." He (the man) said, "It is a Badana." The Prophet ﷺ said thrice, "Ride on it."  

البخاري:١٦٩٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَشُعْبَةُ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ

Abu Huraira said, "The Prophet ﷺ saw a man driving a Badana (sacrificial camel). The Prophet ﷺ said (to him), 'Ride on it.' He replied, 'It is a Badana.' The Prophet ﷺ again said, 'Ride on it!' Abu Huraira added, 'Then I saw that man riding it, showing obedience to the Prophet ﷺ, and a shoe was (hanging) from its neck.' " Narrated Abu Huraira: From the Prophet: (as above).  

البخاري:١٧٠٦ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلاً يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ رَاكِبَهَا يُسَايِرُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَالنَّعْلُ فِي عُنُقِهَا

The Prophet ﷺ saw a man driving a Badana (a camel for sacrifice) and said (to him). "Ride it." The man said, "It is a Bandana." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Ride on it." The man said, "It is a Bandana." The Prophet ﷺ said, Ride on it, woe to you!"

the Messenger of Allah saw a man driving a Badanah and said: "Ride it." He said: "It is Badanah." He said: "Ride it." He said: "It is a Badanah." The fourth time he said: Ride it, woe to you!"  

النسائي:٢٨٠٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

"Ride it." He said: "It "It is Badanah." He said: "Ride it even if it is a Badanah."  

النسائي:٢٨٠١ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى رَجُلاً يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً وَقَدْ جَهَدَهُ الْمَشْىُ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا قَالَ إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ قَالَ ارْكَبْهَا وَإِنْ كَانَتْ بَدَنَةً  

ibnmajah:3103 – Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah > Wakīʿ > Sufyān al-Thawrī > Abū al-Zinād > al-Aʿraj > Abū Hurayrah

“Ride it.” He said: “It is a sacrificial animal.” He said: “Ride it, woe to you!”
