25.104 The riding over the Budn

[Machine] According to his saying: "And the animals, We have made them among the symbols of Allah for you; in them is good. So mention the name of Allah upon them, lined up in rows. And when their flanks fall down, eat from them and feed the contented and the beggar. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may be grateful. Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good."

Mujahid said: "The bodies were named because of their meat. The contented refers to the one who asks, and the beggar refers to the one who asks from the bodies, whether rich or poor. And the symbols are the recognition and appreciation of the bodies. And the emancipated is the one who is freed from the bonds of slavery.

And it is said that the fall (wajabat) refers to falling to the ground, and from it comes wajabat ash-shams (the sunset)."
