[Machine] "The first day of the feast is a duty, the second is a favor, and the third is for show and reputation. Whoever shows off, Allah will expose them."
«الْوَلِيمَةُ أَوَّلُ يَوْمٍ حَقٌّ وَالثَّانِي فَضْلٌ وَالثَّالِثُ رِيَاءٌ وَسُمْعَةٌ وَمَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللهُ بِهِ»
The Messenger of Allah said: "Having food on the first day is was is obligatory, and having food on the second day is Sunnah, and having food on the third day is to be heard of, and whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ طَعَامُ أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ حَقٌّ وَطَعَامُ يَوْمِ الثَّانِي سُنَّةٌ وَطَعَامُ يَوْمِ الثَّالِثِ سُمْعَةٌ وَمَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللَّهُ بِهِ
that the Messenger of Allah said: 'The wedding feast on the first day is an obligation, on the second day is a custom and on the third day is showing off.”
