The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us: If one of you has a slave, and he enters into an agreement to purchase his freedom, and can pay the full price, she must veil herself from him.

لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنْ كَانَ لإِحْدَاكُنَّ مُكَاتَبٌ فَكَانَ عِنْدَهُ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَلْتَحْتَجِبْ مِنْهُ

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you (women) has a Mukatab ho has with him what will fulfill (the Kitabah) then observe Hijab from him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ مُكَاتَبِ إِحْدَاكُنَّ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَلْتَحْتَجِبْ مِنْهُ

“If anyone of you (women) has a Mukatab, and he has enough (wealth) to pay off (his contact of manumission), she must veil herself from him.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ لإِحْدَاكُنَّ مُكَاتَبٌ وَكَانَ عِنْدَهُ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَلْتَحْتَجِبْ مِنْهُ

“If anyone of you (women) has a Mukatab, and he has enough (wealth) to pay off (his contact of manumission), she must veil herself from him.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2520)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ لِإِحْدَاكُنَّ مُكَاتَبٌ فَكَانَ عِنْدَهُ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَلْتُحْجَبْ مِنْهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "If there is something to be handed over at the desks, then keep away from it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ الْمُكَاتَبِ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When the scribes find something to expose, they should conceal it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا وَجَدَ الْمُكَاتَبُ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَاحْتَجِبْنَ مِنْهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "If the pen finds what is owed, abstain from it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا وَجَدَ الْمُكَاتَبُ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ»

“If anyone of you (women) has a Mukatab, and he has enough (wealth) to pay off (his contact of manumission), she must veil herself from him.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2520)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «إِذَا كَانَ لِإِحْدَاكُنَّ مُكَاتَبٌ وَكَانَ عِنْدَهُ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَلْتَحْتَجِبْ مِنْهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying: "When the scribes find what they are entitled to, refrain from it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا وَجَدَ الْمُكَاتَبُ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "When you find the scribes fulfilling their duty, then distance yourself from it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا وَجَدَ الْمُكَاتَبُ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, "If one of you has something that needs to be taken care of by writing, then keep it private."

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَنَا «إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ مُكَاتَبِ إِحْدَاكُنَّ مَا يَقْضِي عَنْهُ كِتَابَتَهُ فَاحْتَجِبِي مِنْهُ»

[AI] The messenger of Allah ﷺ made a pact with us that when he is at the desk of one of you, meaning fulfilling what is left of his correspondence, then we should hide from him.

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ مُكَاتَبِ إِحْدَاكُنَّ يَعْنِي وَفَاءٌ بِمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ مُكَاتَبَتِهِ فَاحْتَجِبْنَ مِنْهُ

“If anyone of you (women) has a Mukatab, and he has enough (wealth) to pay off (his contact of manumission), she must veil herself from him.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2520)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ إِحْدَاكُنَّ مُكَاتَبٌ وَكَانَ عِنْدَهُ مَا يُؤَدِّي فَلْتَحْتَجِبْ مِنْهُ»

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you (women) has a Mukatab ho has with him what will fulfill (the Kitabah) then observe Hijab from him." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1261)

"إذا كانَ عنْدَ المُكَاتَبِ ما يُؤدِّي فَاحْتَجِبَنَ مِنْه" .
