[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I will give the flag tomorrow to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and whom Allah and His Messenger love." Then he called Ali and gave it to him.  

الطبراني:١٥٧٤٧حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى شِيرَانُ الرَّامَهُرْمُزِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْأَسْوَدُ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ قَرْمٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَأُعْطِيَنَّ الرَّايَةَ غَدًا رَجُلًا يُحِبُّ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيُحِبُّهُ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ» ثُمَّ دَعَا عَلِيًّا ؓ فَأَعْطَاهَا إِيَّاهُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day of Khaybar, "I will give the flag today to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger and whom Allah and His Messenger love." He then sent me to Ali, and he was suffering from an eye ailment. So I took hold of him and applied saliva to his eye, and he was healed. He then gave him the flag.
