[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Tomorrow, I will give the flag to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and whom Allah and His Messenger love. Allah will grant victory through his hands." His companions were excited about it, and the flag was given to Ali.  

الكبرى للنسائي:٨٣٤٤أَخْبَرَنِي زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ أَيْمَنَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ سَعْدًا قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَأَدْفَعَنَّ الرَّايَةَ غَدًا إِلَى رَجُلٍ يُحِبُّ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيُحِبُّهُ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ يَفْتَحُ اللهُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ» فَاسْتَشْرَفَ لَهَا أَصْحَابُهُ فَدَفَعَ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ
