The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever cannot get an Izar, can wear trousers, and whoever cannot wear sandals can wear Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather)." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5804)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا لَبِسَ سَرَاوِيلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ لَبِسَ خُفَّيْنِ»
I heard the Prophet ﷺ delivering a sermon at ʿArafat saying, "If a Muhrim does not find slippers, he could wear Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather, but he has to cut short the Khuffs below the ankles), and if he does not find an Izar (a waist sheet for wrapping the lower half of the body) he could wear trousers."
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ بِعَرَفَاتٍ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ النَّعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ لِلْمُحْرِمِ
The Prophet ﷺ delivered a sermon at ʿArafat and said, "Whoever does not get an Izar can wear trousers, and whoever cannot get a pair of shoes can wear Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather)."
خَطَبَنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِعَرَفَاتٍ فَقَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ الإِزَارَ فَلْيَلْبَسِ السَّرَاوِيلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ النَّعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever cannot get an Izar, can wear trousers, and whoever cannot wear sandals can wear Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather)."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever has no Izar (waist sheet), can wear trousers; and whoever has no sandals, can wear Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather, but cut them short below the ankles)."
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ إِزَارٌ فَلْيَلْبَسِ السَّرَاوِيلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ نَعْلاَنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ
I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ say as he was delivering an address: So far as the trousers are concerned, one who does not find lower garment, he may wear them; as also socks, he may wear them who does not find shoes. It concerns the Muhrim.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ السَّرَاوِيلُ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ الإِزَارَ وَالْخُفَّانِ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ النَّعْلَيْنِ يَعْنِي الْمُحْرِمَ
He who does not find shoes to wear may wear socks, and he who does not find lower garment to wear may put on trousers.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ
He heard the Prophet [SAW] say in 'Arafat: "Whoever cannot find an Izar (waist wrapper), let him wear trousers, and whoever cannot find sandals, let him wear Khuffs (leather socks)."
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ بِعَرَفَاتٍ فَقَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسِ السَّرَاوِيلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ
'Whoever cannot find an Izar, let him wear pants, and whoever cannot find sandals, let him wear khuffs."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ
Ibn ‘Abbas said I heard the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ say When one who is wearing ihram cannot get a lower garment(loin cloth) he may ear trousers and when he cannot get sandals he may wear shoes. Abu Dawud said This is the tradition narrated by the narrators of Makkah. Its narrator from Basrah is Jabir bin Zaid. He mentioned only trousers and omitted the mention of cutting of the shoes.

[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was delivering a sermon saying, "Whoever does not find a loincloth but finds trousers should wear them, and whoever does not find sandals but finds shoes should wear them."
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا وَوَجَدَ سَرَاوِيلَ فَلْيَلْبَسْهَا وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ وَوَجَدَ خُفَّيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْهُمَا

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «السَّرَاوِيلُ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ الْإِزَارَ وَالْخُفَّانِ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ النَّعْلَيْنِ»
[Machine] The translation is: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Underwear is for those who cannot find a waist wrapper (izār), and slippers are for those who cannot find shoes."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «السَّرَاوِيلُ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ الْإِزَارَ وَالْخُفَّانِ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ النَّعْلَيْنِ»

"إذا لمْ يجد المحرمُ إِزارًا فليَلبَسِ السّراويلَ، وإذَا لم يجد النَّعْلينِ فليلبس الخفَّينِ" .
"مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ النَّعْلَينِ فَلْيَلبَسْ خُفَّينِ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلبَسْ سَرَاويلَ".
"السَّرَاويلُ لِمَنْ لا يَجدُ الإِزَارَ، والخُفُّ لِمَنْ لَا يَجِدُ النَّعْلَينِ".
"المُحرِمُ إذا لم يَجد الإزَارَ فَليلبَس السَّرَاويلَ، وإذا لم يَجدْ النعْلَينَ فليَلبس الخُفَّين" .
"عَنْ عَلىٍّ: فِى الْمُحْرِمِ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ لَبِسَ خُفَّيْن، وإِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا لَبِسَ سَرَاوِيلَ".
