The Prophet ﷺ said, "The part of an Izar which hangs below the ankles is in the Fire."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الإِزَارِ فَفِي النَّارِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever cannot get an Izar, can wear trousers, and whoever cannot wear sandals can wear Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسْ سَرَاوِيلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that a Muhrim should wear clothes dyed with Saffron or Wars, and said, "Whoever has no shoes can put on Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather) after cutting it below the ankles."

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا بِزَعْفَرَانٍ أَوْ وَرْسٍ وَقَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

One who does not find shoes (to wear) he may wear stockings, but (only) after trimming them below the ankles.

أَنَّهُ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا بِزَعْفَرَانٍ أَوْ وَرْسٍ وَقَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say; 'If you cannot find an Izar then wear pants, and if you cannot find sandals then wear khuffs, but cut them so that they come lower than the ankles.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا فَلْيَلْبَسِ السَّرَاوِيلَ وَإِذَا لَمْ يَجِدِ النَّعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

That the Prophet said "If a Muhrim cannot find sandals then let him wear Khuffs, and cut them, so that they come lower than the ankles.''

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدِ الْمُحْرِمُ النَّعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whatever of the Izar comes below the ankles is in the Fire.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الإِزَارِ فَفِي النَّارِ

The Prophet [SAW] said: "Whatever of the Izar comes below the ankles is in the Fire."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الإِزَارِ فَفِي النَّارِ

“Whoever does not have sandals let him wear leather socks, and let him cut them to below the ankle.”

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ يَقْطَعُهُمَا حَتَّى يَكُونَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

The Prophet ﷺ forbade Muhrims to wear clothes dyed with Wars or saffron. (Using translation from Bukhārī 5847)

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا بِزَعْفَرَانٍ أَوْ وَرْسٍ وَقَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ forbade wearing a garment dyed with saffron or indigo. He ﷺ said, "Whoever does not have sandals, let him wear shoes and cut them below the ankles."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُثَوْبًا صُبِغَ بِوَرْسٍ أَوْ زَعْفَرَانٍ وَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ نَعْلَانِ فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ

“Whoever does not have sandals let him wear leather socks, and let him cut them to below the ankle.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2932)

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whatever of the Izar comes below the ankles is in the Fire.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5330)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What is below the ankles is in the Fire, meaning the lower garment."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَالْكَعْبَيْنِ فَفِي النَّارِ يَعْنِي الْإِزَارَ

The Prophet [SAW] said: "Whatever of the Izar comes below the ankles is in the Fire." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5331)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا أَسْفَلُ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever allows his lower garment to hang below his ankles, he is in the Fire." Shu'bah said: "And Sa'id had grown old."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا كَانَ أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فَهُوَ فِي النَّارِ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَكَانَ سَعِيدٌ قَدْ كَبِرَ

[AI] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "The garment (Izar) should reach halfway down the shin and above the ankles. There is no good in the part of it which is below that."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْإِزَارُ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ وَإِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ لَا خَيْرَ فِي أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whatever of the Izar comes below the ankles is in the Fire.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5330)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ

[AI] I heard Abu Nubayh say, "I heard Aisha say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whatever is below the ankles of the garment will be in the Fire.'"

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا نُبَيْهٍ قَالَسَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ

[AI] I heard Abu Nuwaibah saying, "I heard Aisha saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whatever is below the ankles of the garment is in the Fire.'"

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا نُبَيْهٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فَفِي النَّارِ

[AI] I heard Abu Nubayh saying that he heard Aisha saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whatever is below the ankles from the lower garment will be in the Fire."

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا نُبَيْهٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from 'Abdullah ibn Dinar that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade anyone in ihram to wear a garment which had been dyed with saffron or yellow dye, and said, 'Anyone that cannot find sandals can wear leather socks, but he should cut them off below the ankles.' "

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Anything that goes beyond the ankles of the garment will be in the Fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كُلُّ شَيْءٍ جَاوَزَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ»

[AI] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "Whatever is below the ankles from the garment is in the Fire."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فَفِي النَّارِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever cannot get an Izar, can wear trousers, and whoever cannot wear sandals can wear Khuffs (socks made from thick fabric or leather)." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5804)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ إِزَارًا لَبِسَ سَرَاوِيلَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ لَبِسَ خُفَّيْنِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever leaves behind his heels will be in the Fire."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا خَلْفَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ فَفِي النَّارِ»

That the Prophet said "If a Muhrim cannot find sandals then let him wear Khuffs, and cut them, so that they come lower than the ankles.'' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2680)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدِ الْمُحْرِمُ النَّعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ»

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whatever of the Izar comes below the ankles is in the Fire.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5330)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ»

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Whatever of the Izar comes below the ankles is in the Fire.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5330)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ»

"المُحْرِمُ إِذا لم يَجدِ النَّعْلَين لَبِسَ الخُفين ويَقْطَعُهُمَا حتى يَكُونَا أَسْفَلَ من الكَعْبَينِ" .

"كُلُّ شَيْءٍ جَاوَزَ الْكَعْبَينِ مِنَ الإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ".

"مَا أَسْفَلَ مِن الْكَعْبَين مِنَ الإِزَارِ فَفِي النَّارِ".

"مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَينِ مِنَ الإِزَارِ فَفِي النَّارِ".

"مَا خَلَّفَ الكَعْبَان فَفى النَّار".

"مَنْ لَمْ يَجدْ نَعْلَين فَليَلبَسْ خُفَّين وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَينَ".
