رُقَيْقَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي صَيْفِيِّ بْنِ هَاشِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ
[Machine] Years passed by as Quraysh faced difficulties and hardships that weakened their bodies and exhausted their souls. While I lay there, consumed by worries and concerns, a phone call startled me with a loud voice. The caller shouted, "O people of Quraysh, indeed this is the appointed Prophet who has overshadowed you with his days, and his stars are evident. So, let him be embraced with respect and fertility. Look, a man among you, with strong bones and radiant white hair, soft cheeks, and a pleasant scent. Contemplate his attributes, and let him be approached by a man from each tribe. Then, let them touch him with water, perfume him, and circle around the corner. After that, let Abu Qubays be washed and the man be brought in, and let the people believe in him. You are free now, do as you wish. I woke up, trembling with fear, my skin covered in goosebumps, and my mind confused. I shortened my dream and fell asleep in the valleys of Makkah, by the forbidden Haram. No one remained there except the elderly and the women of Quraysh. They rushed towards him from every tribe, touching and circling around the corner. They ascended Abu Qubays and lined up around him. Their pace did not slow down until they reached the top of the mountain. There stood Abd al-Muttalib, and with him was the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , a young boy who was either alive or lifeless. He raised his hands and said, "O Allah, the Protector of companionship, and the Reliever of sorrow, You are the teacher of the untaught and the responsive without stint. These are Your servants, complaining to You about the hardships they face in Your sanctified areas. O Allah, remove their pain, the tiredness, and the hardships from them. O Allah, send upon us a sudden, heavy, and terrifying rain. By the Lord of the Ka'bah, they did not plan until the sky burst open with its water, and the valley overflowed with its streams. I heard two elders of Quraysh, Abdullah bin Jad'an, Harb bin Umayya, and Hisham bin Al-Mughirah saying to Abd al-Muttalib, "Congratulations to you, O Abu Al-Batha'. You have lived to see the people of Al-Batha' thrive." And in that is what Ruqayyah, the daughter of Abu Sufyan, said.
