رَوْضَةُ
[Machine] Shaybah bint Al-Aswad, the niece of my mother, told me that my grandmother, Rawdah, said to me, "I used to be a companion to a woman in the city. When the Prophet ﷺ migrated from Makkah to Madinah, my guardian, Rawdah, told me to stand at the door of our house and inform her when this man passes by." She continued, "So I stood and the Prophet ﷺ came with a group of his companions. I held onto a corner of his cloak and he smiled at me. Shaybah said, "I think he wiped his hand on my head." I asked my guardian, "O guardian, this is the man who has come." So my guardian and those who were with her in the house came out. Islam was presented to them, and they embraced Islam." Shaybah added, "Rawdah was with me in the house in Bani Sulaym. Whenever the neighbors purchased a slave, servant, garment, or food, they would say to her, 'O Rawdah, place your hand on it.' And everything she touched would be blessed."
