[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered and asked for water for ablution. A container that could hold a mudd and a third, or a mudd and a half, of the Prophet's ﷺ mudd was brought. The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution, washing his face, then washing his hands and wiping his head, and wiping the back of his head until he reached the middle in each wipe.  

الطبراني:٢١١٥٧حَدَّثَنَا النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَأُتِيَ بِإِنَاءٍ يَسَعُ مُدًّا وَثُلُثًا أَوْ مُدًّا وَنِصْفًا مِنْ مُدِّ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «فَتَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ يَدَهُ وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَمَسَحَ مُؤَخَّرَ رَأْسِهِ حَتَّى بَلَغَ وَسَطَهُ فِي كُلِّ مَسْحَةٍ»
