One day, she said to Abdullah, "You and our child have occupied me so much that I am unable to give in charity with you." He replied, "What I dislike is if there is no reward for doing so. So, they asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about this matter. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "You will have the reward for whatever you spend on them."
