The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever equips a fighter in the path of Allah has indeed fought, and whoever looks after the family of a fighter in the path of Allah in a good manner has ˹also˺ indeed fought.”

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا، وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا».

Anybody who equips a warrior (going to fight) in the way of Allah (is like one who actually) fights. And anybody who looks well after his family in his absence (is also like one who actually) fights.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا

The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: He who equips a warrior in the way of Allah (is like one who dctually fights) aud he who looks after the family of a warrior in the way of Allah in fact participated in the battle.

نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنَ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا

Zaid bin Khalid al Juhani reported that Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “He who equips a fighter in Allaah’s path has taken part in the fighting. And he looks after a fighter’s family when he is away has taken part in the fighting.”

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَاَزِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever prepares a fighter in Allah's cause, he has participated in a military expedition, and whoever looks after the family of a fighter, he has participated in a military expedition."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever prepares a fighter in Allah's cause, or looks after the family of a fighter, then he has participated in a military expedition."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever prepares a fighter in Allah's cause, he has participated in a military expedition, and whoever watches after the family of a fighter, he has participated in a military expedition."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا

"Whoever equips a warrior in the cause of Allah has fought, and whoever looks after his family in his absence has fought."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever equips a warrior has fought, and whoever looks after his family in his absence has fought.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fights in the cause of Allah intending only to get an 'Iqal, he will have what he intended." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3138)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ غَزَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ لَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى»

[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: 'Whoever prepares a mujahid for the sake of Allah or supports his family, Allah will write for him the same reward as the mujahid, except that nothing will be reduced from the reward of the mujahid.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مِثْلَ أَجْرِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الْغَازِي شَيْئًا»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever equips a warrior in the cause of Allah has participated in the battle, and whoever supports him has also participated in the battle."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فَقَدْ غَزَا

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever equips a warrior has fought, and whoever looks after his family in his absence has fought.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3181)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever prepares a warrior or supports his family with goodness, then surely he is with us."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَإِنَّهُ مَعَنَا

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever fights in the cause of Allah intending only to get an 'Iqal, he will have what he intended." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3138)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ خَلْفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ حَتَّى إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الْغَازِي شَيْءٌ»

Zaid bin Khalid al Juhani reported that Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “He who equips a fighter in Allaah’s path has taken part in the fighting. And he looks after a fighter’s family when he is away has taken part in the fighting.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2509)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ « مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلْفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا»

[AI] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever equips a warrior will have the reward equal to that of the warrior, and whoever supports a warrior's family will have the reward equal to that of the warrior." Ibn Shihab then informed me that Busr ibn Sa'id told him.

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ وَمَنْ خَلْفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ» قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ثُمَّ أَخْبَرَنِيهُ بُسْرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, "Whoever prepares a warrior for the sake of Allah or supports his family in his absence, he will be rewarded equally, without any decrease in his reward. And whoever provides food to break the fast for a fasting person, he will be rewarded equally, without any decrease in his reward."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ خَلْفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ شَيْءٌ»

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Whoever prepares a warrior or takes care of his family has indeed participated in Jihad."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا»

[AI] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever equips a warrior, he will have the same reward as him, and whoever stays behind to take care of his family, he will have the same reward as him." Ibn Shihab then told me this information by Busru bin Sa'id.

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ» قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ثُمَّ أَخْبَرَنِيهَا بُسْرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ : "Whoever equips a fighter in the cause of Allah will have the same reward as the fighter. And whoever looks after the family of a fighter in the cause of Allah and spends from his own wealth, he will have the same reward as the fighter."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ وَأَنْفَقَ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever equips a warrior in the cause of Allah or supports his family will have the same reward as the warrior without any reduction in his own reward. And whoever provides iftar (food to break the fast) for a fasting person, will have the same reward as that fasting person."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ الْغَازِي مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنَّ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ شَيْءٌ وَمَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever equips a warrior or supports his family with goodness, then he is with us."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَإِنَّهُ مَعَنَا»

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever equips a warrior in the cause of Allah has indeed waged jihad, and whoever stays behind to take care of his family has also waged jihad in a good way."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا

"مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا في سَبِيلِ الله فلَهُ مثْلُ أَجْره، ومن خَلَفَ غَازيًا في سبيلِ الله في أَهْله بِخَير وَأَنْفَقَ فَلَهُ مثْلُ أَجْرِه".
