The urine of a female (child) should be washed and the urine of a male (child) should be sprinkled over until the age of eating.

يُغْسَلُ مِنْ بَوْلِ الْجَارِيَةِ وَيُنْضَحُ مِنْ بَوْلِ الْغُلاَمِ مَا لَمْ يَطْعَمْ

The Messenger of Allah said: "The urine of a boy should be sprinkled over and the urine of a girl should be washed."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَوْلُ الْغُلاَمِ يُنْضَحُ وَبَوْلُ الْجَارِيَةِ يُغْسَلُ

"The Prophet ﷺ said: 'A girl's urine should be washed away and a boy's urine should be sprinkled with water.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 304)

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يُغْسَلُ مِنْ بَوْلِ الْجَارِيَةِ وَيُرَشُّ مِنْ بَوْلِ الْغُلَامِ»

The Messenger of Allah said: "The urine of a boy should be sprinkled over and the urine of a girl should be washed." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 527)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَوْلُ الْغُلَامِ يُنْضَحُ وَبَوْلُ الْجَارِيَةِ يُغْسَلُ

"بَوْلُ الغُلام يُنضَحُ، وَبوْلُ الجَاريَة يُغْسَلُ".

"يُغْسَلُ مِنْ بَوْالِ الْجَارِيَةِ، وَيُرَشُّ مِنْ بَوْلِ الغُلَامِ".
