8. Book of Purification
"And he came close to me and reached out his hand. I said: 'I am Junub.' He said: 'The Muslim is not made impure (Najis).'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 268)
"When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ met a man from among his Companions, he would shake hands with him and supplicate for him. I saw him one day in the early morning, and I tried to avoid him, then I came to him later in the day. He said: 'I saw you but you were avoiding me.' I said: 'I was Junub and I was afraid that you would touch me.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Muslim is not made impure (Najis).'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 267)
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ threw the pebbles at the Jamrah on the Day of Sacrifice, then he commanded for the animals to be sacrificed. The barber was sitting with him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ evened his hair with his hand that day. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ held the hair on one side of his head and said to the barber, 'Shave it.' So he shaved it. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided his hair that day among those people present from the Ansar, giving each person a strand or two of hair. Then he held the hair on the left side of his head with his hand and said to the barber, 'Shave it.' So he shaved it. Then he called Abu Talhah al-Ansari and gave the hair to him."
[Machine] The translation of the provided sentence from Arabic to English is as follows:
"The Prophet ﷺ used to bring young boys and pat their cheeks. One time, a young boy urinated on him, so he followed him with water and did not wash him."
"I came to the Messenger of Allah with a son of mine who was not yet eating solid food, and he (the baby) urinated on him. He called for water and sprinkled it over (the urine)." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 524)
[Machine] That the mother of Qays ibn Muhsin Al-Asadiyah, the sister of Ukasha ibn Muhsin, was one of the female immigrants who gave allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . She said, "I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with my infant son who had not eaten any food yet. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took him and sat him in his lap. The baby urinated on the garment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took water and sprinkled it on him without washing him."
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said regarding the urine of a baby, "The urine of a boy should be sprinkled, and the urine of a girl should be washed off."
I still seem to see the glistening of the perfume where the hair was parted on the head of the Messenger of Allah (SWAS) while he was wearing Ihram. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1746)
I still seem to see the glistening of the perfume where the hair was parted on the head of the Messenger of Allah (SWAS) while he was wearing Ihram. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1746)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Musk is the best of perfumes."
A person stayed in the house of A'isha and in the morning began to wash his garment. A'isha said: In case you saw it (i. e. drop of semen), it would have served the purpose (of purifying the garment) if you had simply washed that spot; and in case you did not see it, it would have been enough to sprinkle water around it, for when I saw that on the garment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I simply scraped it off and he offered prayer, while putting that on. (Using translation from Muslim 288a)
"I remember rubbing the Janabah from the garment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 300)
I used to wash the traces of Janaba (semen) from the clothes of the Prophet ﷺ and he used to go for prayers while traces of water were still on it (water spots were still visible). (Using translation from Bukhārī 229)
[Machine] I heard Aisha say, "I used to wash the semen stains from the garment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he would go out for prayer while the traces of the spots were still visible on his garment."
[Machine] We went to Tabuk in intense heat. We found a place where we suffered from thirst to the point where we thought our necks would be severed. Even when a man went to search for water, he did not return until we thought his neck would be severed. Even when a man slaughtered his camel and squeezed out its dung to drink, and put what was left on his liver, Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said to the Messenger of Allah, "O Messenger of Allah, Allah has made you accustomed to supplicating for good, so supplicate for us." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do you like that?" He said: "Yes." So he raised his hands and did not lower them until a cloud came and poured forth rain until they had all filled up what they had with them. Then we set off looking for it, but we did not find it beyond the army.
The Messenger of Allah said: "If you cannot find anywhere (for prayer) except sheep's resting-places and camels' resting-places, then perform prayer in the sheep's resting-places and do not perform prayer in the camels' resting-places." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 768)
Anas said, "The Prophet ﷺ prayed in the sheep fold." Later on I heard him saying, "He prayed in the sheep folds before the construction of the, mosque." (Using translation from Bukhārī 429)
[Machine] A group of Bedouins from Uraynah came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and they settled in the city. He commanded them to drink from its milk and urine, so they drank until they recovered. Then, they killed the shepherds and stole the camels, so the Prophet of Allah ﷺ sent a group to pursue them. They were brought back, and their hands and feet were cut off, and their eyes were cauterized.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ commanded the Bedouins to drink from the urine and milk of camels.
8.20 [Machine] The impurity and its purification
[Machine] An Urainah delegation came to the Prophet ﷺ, so they entered Medina. The Prophet ﷺ sent them for treatment, saying, "Drink from its milk and urine." They drank until they recovered and fattened. However, they killed the shepherd of the Prophet ﷺ, stole the camels, and renegaded. The Prophet ﷺ sent people after them, caught them, and amputated their hands and legs. He gouged out their eyes and left them in the desert.
[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, in our land we have grapes that we squeeze and drink from." He said, "Do not drink." I said, "Can we use it to pour it over the sick?" The Messenger of Allahﷺ said, "That is a disease, not a cure."

[Machine] Swaid ibn Tariq asked the Prophet ﷺ about alcohol and said, "We make it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade him from doing so. Swaid ibn Tariq then said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is a medicine." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "It is not a medicine, rather it is a disease."

[Machine] "Umm Salamah complained to me about her daughter, so I threw her into a pot. Then the Prophetﷺ entered while it was boiling and said, 'What is this?' Umm Salamah replied, 'My daughter complained, so we threw her in this.' The Prophetﷺ said, 'Indeed, Allah did not make your cure in something forbidden.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a mouse that dies in clarified butter, so he said, "If it is solid, throw it away along with anything around it and eat. But if it is liquid, do not go near it."

the Prophet was asked about a mouse that fell into the cooking fat. He said: "If it (the fat) is solid, then throw it away, and whatever is around it. If it is liquid then do not use it at all."(Daif) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4260)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a mouse that falls into ghee and dies. He said, "If it is solid (or frozen), throw it away along with what is around it and do not consume it. But if it is liquid, do not approach it."
