Abu Razin said about Abu Hurayra, "I saw him striking his brow with his hand whole saying, 'People of Iraq, do you claim that I lie against the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace? Do you have enjoyment while I have the wrong action? I testify that I heard the , Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When one of you breaks his sandal-strap, he should not walk in his other sandal until it is mended."'"

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُهُ يَضْرِبُ جَبْهَتَهُ بِيَدِهِ وَيَقُولُ يَا أَهْلَ الْعِرَاقِ أَتَزْعُمُونَ أَنِّي أَكْذِبُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَيَكُونُ لَكُمُ الْمَهْنَأُ وَعَلَيَّ الْمَأْثَمُ؟ أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ نَعْلِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلاَ يَمْشِي فِي نَعْلِهِ الأُخْرَى حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهُ

Abu Huraira came to us and he struck his forehead with his hand and said: Behold I you talk amongst yourself that I attribute wrongly to Messenger of Allah ﷺ (certain things) in order to guide you to the right path. In such a case, I would myself go astray. Listen. I bear testimony to the fact that I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: When the thong of any one of you is broken, he should not walk in the second one until he has got it repaired.

خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ فَقَالَ أَلاَ إِنَّكُمْ تَحَدَّثُونَ أَنِّي أَكْذِبُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِتَهْتَدُوا وَأَضِلَّ أَلاَ وَإِنِّي أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلاَ يَمْشِ فِي الأُخْرَى حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهَا

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

"If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times, the first time with dust."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أُولاَهُنَّ بِالتُّرَابِ

"If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times, the first time with dust."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أُولاَهُنَّ بِالتُّرَابِ

"I saw Abu Hurairah clap his hand to his forehead and say: 'O people of Al-'Iraq, you claim that I tell lies about the Messenger of Allah [SAW]. I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: If the strap of the sandal of one of you breaks, let him not walk in the other until he fixes it.'"

رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَضْرِبُ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ يَقُولُ يَا أَهْلَ الْعِرَاقِ تَزْعُمُونَ أَنِّي أَكْذِبُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ نَعْلِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلاَ يَمْشِ فِي الأُخْرَى حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهَا

'I saw Abu Hurairah hitting his forehead with his hand and saying: "O people of Iraq! Do you claim that I would tell a lie against the Messenger of Allah so that it may be more convenient for you and a sin upon me?' I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'"

رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَضْرِبُ جَبْهَتَهُ بِيَدِهِ وَيَقُولُ يَا أَهْلَ الْعِرَاقِ أَنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ أَنِّي أَكْذِبُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِيَكُونَ لَكُمُ الْمَهْنَأُ وَعَلَىَّ الإِثْمُ أَشْهَدُ لَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "When a dog licks the inside of one of your containers, wash it seven times. And if one of you steps on the excrement of an animal, do not walk in the other sandal until you have cleaned it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ وَإِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلِهِ الْأُخْرَى حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهَا

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 366)

قال قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

رَأَيْتُهُ يَضْرِبُ جَبْهَتَهُ بِيَدِهِ وَيَقُولُ يَا أَهْلَ الْعِرَاقِ تَزْعُمُونَ أَنِّي أَكْذِبُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لِيَكُنْ لَكُمُ الْمَهْنَأُ وَعَلَيَّ الْإِثْمُ أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي الْأُخْرَى حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهَا وَإِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَتَوَضَّأْ حَتَّى يَغْسِلَهَا سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

[AI] If one of you breaks their sandals, do not walk in a single shoe.

إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي النَّعْلِ الْوَاحِدَةِ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "If any of you's shoelace gets cut, do not walk with just one shoe. And if a dog licks the vessel of any of you, then wash it seven times."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَإِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If the strap of one of your sandals breaks, do not walk in it until you fix it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ حَتَّى يُصْلِحَهَا

The Messenger of Allah said: "If a dog licks the vessel of anyome of you, let him wash it seven times." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 364)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَاغْسِلُوهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ»

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا وَلِغَ الْكَلْبُ في إناء أحدكم فليغسله سبع مرات وإذا انقطع شسع أحدكم فلا يمشين في نعل واحدة

عَنِ النَّبِي ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا ولغ الكلب في إناء أحدكم فليغسله سبع مرات

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you has a shoe lace cut, do not walk with only one shoe."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ»

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 366)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهِ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ»

"إِذَا وَلَغَ الكْلبُ في إناءِ أحدِكُمْ فليَغْسله سبع مرَّاتٍ".
