On the authority of his father 'Asim: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave permission to the herdsmen of the camels not to pass night at Mina and asked them to throw pebbles on the day of sacrifice, and to throw pebbles at the jamrahs the next day and the following two days, and on the day of their return. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1975)   

الكبرى للنسائي:٤١٦٤أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي الْبَدَّاحِ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «رَخَّصَ لِرِعَاءِ الْإِبِلِ فِي الْبَيْتُوتَةِ عَنْ مِنًى يَرْمُونَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ يَرْمُونَ الْغَدَ أَوْ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْغَدِ لِيَوْمَيْنِ ثُمَّ يَرْمُونَ يَوْمَ النَّفْرِ»

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Hazm from his father that Abu'l-Baddah ibn Asim ibn Adi told him from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed the camel-herders to spend the night outside of Mina, and they threw the stones (once) on the day of sacrifice, and (once) for the following day and the day after that, and (once) on the day when they left Mina.
