Zaid b. Thabit (Allah be pleased with him) reported Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) having given concession in case of 'ariyya for selling dry dates (with) fresh dates after measuring them out.  

مسلم:١٥٣٩c – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِصَاحِبِ الْعَرِيَّةِ أَنْ يَبِيعَهَا بِخَرْصِهَا مِنَ التَّمْرِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَرْخَصَ لِصَاحِبِ الْعَرِيَّةِ أَنْ يَبِيعَهَا بِخَرْصِهَا  

malik:31-14 – Yaḥyá > Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar > Zayd b. Thābit

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar from Zayd ibn Thabit that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed the holder of an ariya to barter the dates on the palm for the amount of dried dates it was estimated that the palms would produce.  

مالك:٣١-١٤ – حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَرْخَصَ لِصَاحِبِ الْعَرِيَّةِ أَنْ يَبِيعَهَا بِخَرْصِهَا

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِصَاحِبِ الْعَرِيَّةِ أَنْ يَبِيعَهَا بِخَرْصِهَا مِنَ التَّمْرِ»  

tabarani:4760 – Jaʿfar b. Muḥammad al-Firyābī > Sulaymān b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman al-Dimashqī > Yaḥyá b. Ḥamzah > al-Zubaydī > al-Zuhrī > Sālim from his father > Zayd b. Thābit

the Messenger of Allah granted a concession allowing 'Araya sales for dried dates by estimation. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4539)
