[Machine] He (the narrator) heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Allah the Exalted said: 'I am the Most Merciful. I have created the womb (i.e., the bond of kinship) and have derived its name from My Name. Whoever maintains ties of kinship, I maintain ties with him, and whoever severs ties of kinship, I sever ties with him.'" This is narrated by Abu Raddad Al-Laythi, with the addition of Sufyan bin 'Uyainah, Muhammad bin Abi 'Atiq, Shu'ayb bin Abi Hamzah, and Sufyan bin Husayn. It is an authentic narration.  

الحاكم:٧٢٦٨ – وَأَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ أَخْبَرَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ رَدَّادَ اللَّيْثِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَنَا الرَّحْمَنُ خَلَقْتُ الرَّحِمَ وَشَقَقْتُ لَهَا مِنِ اسْمِي فَمَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَصَلْتُهُ وَمَنْ قَطَعَهَا بَتَتُّهُ «هَذَا أَبُو رَدَّادٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ قَدْ أَضَافَ فِيهِ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي عَتِيقٍ وَشُعَيْبَ بْنَ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ وَسُفْيَانَ بْنَ حُسَيْنٍ» صحيح

" Abu[Ar-Raddad] Al-Laithi complained(of an illness). So 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf visited him. He said: 'The best of you, and the most apt to maintain good relations, as far as I know, is Abu Muhammad('Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf). So 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf' said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah saying : "Allah, Most Blessed and Most High, said: 'I am Allah, and I am Ar-Rahman. I created the Rahim(womb), and named it after My Name. So whoever keeps good relations with it, I keep good relation with him, and whoever severs it, I am finished with him.'" أحمد:١٦٨٦ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ اشْتَكَى أَبُو الرَّدَّادِ فَعَادَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ فَقَالَ

أَبُو الرَّدَّادِ خَيْرُهُمْ وَأَوْصَلُهُمْ مَا عَلِمْتُ أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ أَنَا اللهُ وَأَنَا الرَّحْمَنُ خَلَقْتُ الرَّحِمَ وَشَقَقْتُ لَهَا مِنَ اسْمِي فَمَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَصَلْتُهُ وَمَنْ قَطَعَهَا بَتَتُّهُ

[Machine] Narrator: It was narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, said: 'I am Ar-Rahman (the Most Merciful). I have created the Rahim (womb) and I have derived its name from My Name. Whoever maintains ties with it, I shall maintain ties with him, and whoever severs it, I shall sever ties with him.'" أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَنَا الرَّحْمَنُ خَلَقْتُ الرَّحِمَ وَشَقَقْتُ لَهَا مِنِ اسْمِي فَمَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَصَلْتُهُ وَمَنْ قَطَعَهَا قَطَعْتُهُ صحيح  

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ قَوْلَهُ ﷺ «الرَّحِمُ شِجْنَةٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ» أَرَادَ أَنَّهَا مُشْتَقَّةٌ مِنِ اسْمِ الرَّحْمَنِ

ابن حبّان:٤٤٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ رَدَّادٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ
