Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a piece of cooked mutton from the shoulder region and prayed without repeating ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Prophet ﷺ ate (a piece of) mutton from the shoulder region and then prayed without repeating the ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عِنْدَهَا كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took (meat of) goat's shoulder and offered prayer and did not perform ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took flesh from the bone or meat, and then offered prayer and did not perform ablution, and (in fact) he did not touch water.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عَرْقًا أَوْ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ take slices from goat's shoulder, and then eat them, and then offer prayer without having performed ablution.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَحْتَزُّ مِنْ كَتِفٍ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

Ibn 'Abbas reported it on the authority of Maimuana, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took (a piece of goat's) shoulder at her place, and then offered prayer but did not perform ablution.

عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عِنْدَهَا كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took (the meat of) a (goat's) shoulder and offered prayer and did not perform ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Prophet ﷺ ate a little meat from a (goat's) shoulder. He then offered prayer and did not perform ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ انْتَهَشَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

From his father who said that he saw the Prophet ﷺ making incisions (with a knife) into a piece of a lamb shoulder which he ate from, then he went to perform Salat without performing Wudu'.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ احْتَزَّ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا ثُمَّ مَضَى إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate a shoulder, then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Prophet ﷺ ate of the meat of a shoulder (by cutting the meat with his teeth), and then got up and offered the prayer without performing the ablution anew. (Using translation from Bukhārī 5404)

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَعَرَّقَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] It was narrated that the Prophet ﷺ was brought a shoulder of roasted meat, and he ate a bite from it, then he prayed without performing ablution (wudu) after that.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِكَتِفٍ مَشْوِيَّةٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا نُتَفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

[AI] He mentioned to him that he heard Ibn Abbas saying, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating from a shoulder or an arm, then he stood up and prayed without performing ablution."

أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ أَوْ ذِرَاعٍ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ ate the shoulder of a sheep, then he prayed without renewing his ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يُعِدِ الْوُضُوءَ

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ wiped his neck, then he performed the prayer without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ انْتَهَسَ عَرْقًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ wiped his shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ انْتَهَسَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] He saw the Prophet ﷺ eat a morsel of food, then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عُضْوًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Prophet ﷺ ate of the meat of a shoulder (by cutting the meat with his teeth), and then got up and offered the prayer without performing the ablution anew. (Using translation from Bukhārī 5404)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَعَرَّقَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] That the Prophet, may peace be upon him, shook off the dust from his shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ انْتَهَسَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate meat and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ ate bread and meat, then he prayed without performing ablution."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] He saw the Prophet ﷺ eat something, then he prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عُضْوًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَأْكُلُ مِنْ كَتِفٍ يَحْتَزُّ مِنْهَا ثُمَّ دُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] He said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eat a piece of meat, then he stood up and rinsed his mouth, then he performed prayer without performing ablution."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَمَضْمَضَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] He saw the Prophet ﷺ eat something and then pray without performing ablution.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عُضْوًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ kissed, then prayed without performing ablution."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَبَّلَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] He heard Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, say: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate from a shoulder, then he stood up and prayed without performing ablution."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ تَقُولُ أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar from Abdullah Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder of lamb and then prayed without doing wudu.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate from a shoulder, or he said, "Sweated from a rib," then he prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ أَوْ قَالَ «تَعَرَّقَ مِنْ ضِلَعٍ» ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ ate from the meat of a sheep and did not perform ablution."

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ مِنْ لَحْمِ شَاةٍ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] He saw the Prophet of Allah ﷺ eating from a roasted shoulder, then he prayed without performing ablution from it.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ مَشْوِيَّةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَمَا تَوَضَّأَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate from the shoulder of a sheep and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate from a shoulder, then he prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ passed wind from his shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «انْتَهَشَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

The Prophet ﷺ ate of the meat of a shoulder (by cutting the meat with his teeth), and then got up and offered the prayer without performing the ablution anew. (Using translation from Bukhārī 5404)

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَعَرَّقَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] Regarding the Prophet ﷺ , "He suffered an injury on his shoulder, then he performed the prayer without ablution."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «تَعَرَّضَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

The Prophet ﷺ ate (a piece of) mutton from the shoulder region and then prayed without repeating the ablution. (Using translation from Bukhārī 210)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «أَكَلَ عِنْدَهَا كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] He heard Maymuna saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder, then he prayed without performing ablution."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَيْمُونَةَ تَقُولُ «أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَتِفًا فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] He "ate a shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution" refers to the Prophet ﷺ.

أَنَّهُ «أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ» تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

"عن أَبى بكر قال: رأيت النبى ﷺ نَهَشَ مِنْ كَتفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى ولَمْ يَتَوَضَّأ".

"أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ احْتزَّ مِنْ كتف شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأ".

"عَنْ أُمِّ الحكيم بِنْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهَا آتَتْ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ كَتِفًا مِنْ لَحْمٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأ".
