adab:95 – Abu Sa'id said that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:

'Someone who does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.'  

الأدب المفرد:٩٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ عَنْ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ
