˹This is˺ a revelation from the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful -

A revelation from the Compassionate, the Merciful (tanzīlun mina’l-rahmāni’l-rahīm, the subject).

The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

The Compassionate, the Merciful: that is to say, the One who possesses ‘mercy’, which means to want what is good for those who deserve it.

القرآن:١:٣ –

الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

{الرحمن الرحيم} أي ذي الرحمة وهي إرادة الخير لأهله.

bukhari:6013 – ʿUmar b. Ḥafṣ from my father > al-Aʿmash > Zayd b. Wahb > Jarīr b. ʿAbdullāh

The Prophet ﷺ said, "He who is not merciful to others, will not be treated mercifully.

"Whoever does not show mercy to the people, Allah will not show mercy to him."

Show mercy to become eligible to receive Mercy from Allah
