The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a man goes out of his house and says:

bismi Allāhi tawakkaltu ʿalā Allāhi, lā ḥawla wa-lā quwwata illā bi-Allāh

(In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no might and no power but in Allah)

the following will be said to him at that time: "You are guided, defended and protected." The devils will go far from him and another devil will say: How can you deal with a man who has been guided, defended and protected?"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِذَا خَرَجَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ فَقَالَ:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ

قَالَ: «يُقَالُ حِينَئِذٍ: هُدِيتَ وَكُفِيتَ وَوُقِيتَ، فَتَتَنَحَّى لَهُ الشَّيَاطِينُ، فَيَقُولُ لَهُ شَيْطَانٌ آخَرُ: كَيْفَ لَكَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ هُدِيَ وَكُفِيَ وَوُقِيَ؟».

“Bismillah, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah, at-tuklanu ‘ala Allah (In the Name of Allah, there is no power and strength except with Allah, and trust is placed in Allah).”

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ قَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ التُّكْلاَنُ عَلَى اللَّهِ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ يَقُولُ «بِسْمِ اللَّهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ التُّكْلَانُ عَلَى اللَّهِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said: When a man goes out of his house and says: "In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no might and no power but in Allah," the following will be said to him at that time: "You are guided, defended and protected." أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ فَقَالَ «بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ حَسْبُكَ قَدْ كُفِيتَ وَهُدِيتَ وَوُقِيتَ؛ فَيَلْقَى الشَّيْطَانُ شَيْطَانًا آخَرَ فَيَقُولُ لَهُ كَيْفَ * لَكَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ كُفِيَ وَهُدِيَ وَوُقِيَ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "When one of you leaves his house, let him say: 'In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah, there is no power or might except with Allah. Whatever Allah wills, I rely on Allah. Allah is sufficient for me and He is the best disposer of affairs.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ «إِذَا خَرَجَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ فَلْيَقُلْ بِسْمِ اللهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ حَسْبِي اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: When a person leaves his house and says, "In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah, there is no power or strength except with Allah," it will be said to him, "You have been guided, protected, and sufficed."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا خَرَجَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ قَالَ بِاسْمِ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ حَسْبُكَ هُدِيتَ وَوُقِيتَ وَكُفِيتَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever says 'In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah. There is no power or strength except with Allah,' it is said to him: 'You have been protected and sufficed.' Hujaj bin Muhammad narrated this from Ibn Jurayj and added: 'When he leaves his house.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَالَ بِاسْمِ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ يُقَالُ وُقِيتَ وَكُفِيتَ وَرَوَاهُ حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ وَزَادَ فِيهِ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to say when he left his house, "In the Name of Allah. Reliance is on Allah. There is no power nor strength except by Allah."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ قَالَ بِسْمِ اللهِ التُّكْلاَنُ عَلَى اللهِ لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: When a man goes out of his house and says: "In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no might and no power but in Allah," the following will be said to him at that time: "You are guided, defended and protected." "إذا خرجَ الرجلُ مِنْ بَيته فقال: بِسْم الله، توَّكلتُ على اللهِ، لا حولَ ولا قوَّةَ إلا بالله، فيقَالُ لَهُ: حسْبُكَ، قَدْ هُديتَ، وَكفِيتَ، ووقيتَ، فيتنحَّى له الشَّيطانُ، فيقولُ لَه شَيطَان آخر: كيُف لكَ برجَلٍ قد هُدِى، وَكُفَى، ووُقِى".

"إذا خَرجَ أحدُكُمْ منْ بَيتِه، فليقُل: بسْم اللهِ، لا حْولَ ولا قُوةَ إلَّا بالله، ما شاءَ اللهُ، تَوَكلتُ على اللهِ، حَسْبِى اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الوَكيلُ".

"مَن قال إِذَا خَرَجَ مِن بَيتِهِ: بِسمِ الله تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلى الله، وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إلَّا بِالله، يُقَالُ لَهُ: كُفِيتَ وَوُقيتَ، وَتَنَحَّى عَنْهُ الشَّيطَانُ".

"عَنْ أبِي هُريْرَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ مَنْزِلِهِ بِسْم الله، التُّكلَان عَلَى الله، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إلَّا بِالله".
