From Khawlah bint Al Hakim As-Sulamiyyah, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever stops at a stopping place and then says: ‘I seek refuge in Allah’s Perfect Words from the evil of what He has created, (Aʿūdhu bi-kalimātillāhit-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq)’ nothing shall harm him until he departs from that stopping place of his.”  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ نَزَلَ مَنْزِلاً ثُمَّ قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى يَرْتَحِلَ مِنْ مَنْزِلِهِ ذَلِكَ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ وَرَوَى مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَرُوِيَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ وَيَقُولُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ خَوْلَةَ قَالَ وَحَدِيثُ اللَّيْثِ أَصَحُّ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ  

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik that Abu Yazid Al-Qaratisi narrated from Abdullah ibn Abd al-Hakam that Bakr ibn Sahl narrated from Abdullah ibn Yusuf who said: "I am Malik, from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr, from his father, from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn Uthman, from Ibn Abi Amrah Al-Ansari, from Zaid ibn Khalid Al-Juhani, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Shall I not inform you of the best of the martyrs? The one who brings his testimony before being asked or before being informed of his testimony.'"  

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَا أَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ؟ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِشَهَادَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا أَوْ يُخْبِرُ بِشَهَادَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا»  

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik, and Abu Yazid al-Qaratissi narrated from Abdullah bin Abdul-Hakam, and Bakr bin Sahl narrated from Abdullah bin Yusuf, they all said: "I am Malik, from Ibn Shihab, from Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin Utba bin Mas'ud, from Abu Hurairah and from Zaid bin Khalid al-Juhani, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about slaves who commit illegal sexual intercourse but do not get married. He said, "If they commit illegal sexual intercourse, lash them.' 'Then if they commit illegal sexual intercourse (after that), lash them.' 'Then if they commit illegal sexual intercourse (after that), lash them.' 'Then if they commit illegal sexual intercourse (after that), sell them even for a rope of hair.' Ibn Shihab said, 'I do not know whether that was before or after the verse of Al-Qisas (i.e. the law of equality in punishment)." 'Adad' is the rope.  

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَا أَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْأَمَةِ إِذَا زَنَتْ وَلَمْ تُحْصَنْ؟ فَقَالَ «إِذَا زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ثُمَّ بِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ» قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ «وَلَا أَدْرِي بَعْدَ الثَّالِثَةِ أَوِ الرَّابِعَةِ وَالضَّفِيرُ هُوَ الْحَبْلُ»
