The Prophet ﷺ said: The prayer a man offers in his house is more excellent than his prayer in this mosque of mine except obligatory prayer.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ صَلاَةُ الْمَرْءِ فِي بَيْتِهِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا إِلاَّ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺas saying: When the iqamah is pronounced for prayer, no prayer is valid except the obligatory prayer. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1266)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلَا صَلَاةَ إِلَّا الْمَكْتُوبَةُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Pray the prayer at its prescribed time."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا

[AI] The messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The best prayer of a person is in his own house, except for the obligatory ones."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَفْضَلُ صَلَاةِ الْمَرْءِ فِي بَيْتِهِ إِلَّا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked, "Which deeds are the best?" He replied, "Praying on time."

سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ لِوَقْتِهَا

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'n-Nadr, the mawla of Umar ibn Ubaydullah from Yusr ibn Said that Zayd ibn Thabit said, "The most excellent prayer is your prayer in your house, except for the prescribed prayers."

قَالَ أَفْضَلُ الصَّلاَةِ صَلاَتُكُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ إِلاَّ صَلاَةَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ

Prayer at its appointed hour. I (again) said: Then what? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Kindness to the parents. I (again) said: Then what? He replied: Earnest endeavour (Jihad) in the cause of Allah. And I would have not ceased asking more questions but out of regard (for his feelings). (Using translation from Muslim 85a)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «صَلَاةُ الْمَرْءِ فِي بَيْتِهِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ فِي مَسْجِدِي إِلَّا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ»

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ said, 'The best prayer is the prayer of a person in his house, except for the obligatory prayers.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَفْضَلُ الصَّلَاةِ صَلَاةُ الْمَرْءِ فِي بَيْتِهِ إِلَّا الصَّلَاةَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Pray, O people, in your houses, for the best prayer of a person is in his house except for the obligatory prayer." A statement by Malik ibn Anas.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «صَلُّوا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ فَإِنَّ أَفْضَلَ صَلَاةِ الْمَرْءِ فِي بَيْتِهِ إِلَّا الصَّلَاةَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ» وقفة مالك بن أنس

[AI] "The best prayer is your prayer in your homes, except for the congregational prayer."

«أَفْضَلُ الصَّلَاةِ صَلَاتُكُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ يَعْنِي إِلَّا صَلَاةَ الْجَمَاعَةِ»

"أفضلُ الصَّلاةِ صلاة الرَّجُلِ في بيته إلا المكتوبةَ" .

"صَلُّوا أَيُّها النَّاسُ في بُيُوتِكم؛ فإِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الصَّلاةِ صَلَاةُ المَرْءِ فِي بَيْتهِ إِلا المكتوبةَ".

"فَضْلُ صَلاةِ الرَّجُلِ فِي بَيته عَلَى صَلاتِه حَيثُ يَرَاه النَّاسُ كَفَضْلِ الْمَكْتُوبَة عَلَى النَّافِلَة".

"قَدْ عَرفْت الذِى رَأيت من صَنِيعكُمْ، فصَلُّوا أَيُّها الناسُ فِي بُيُوتِكم فإِنّ أَفْضَل صلاة المَرْءِ فِي بَيتِهِ إلا المَكْتُوبَة".
