"لِلمُسْلِم عَلَى أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِم سِتُّ خصَال وَاجِبَةٌ، فَمَن تَرَكَ خَصْلَةً منْهَا فَقَدْ تَرَكَ حَقًّا وَاجِبًا لأَخِيهِ: إِذَا دَعَاهُ أَنْ يُجِيبَهُ، وإِذَا لَقِيَهُ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ عَلَيهِ وَإِذَا عَطَسَ أَنْ يُشَمِّتَه، وَإِذَا مَرِضَّ أَنْ يَعُودَه، وَإِذَا مَاتَ أَنْ يَتَّبِعَ جِنَازَتَهُ, وَإِذَا اسْتَنْصَحَهُ أَنْ يَنْصَحَهُ".
