"عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ: كَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ: السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ الله، ثُمَّ يَنْتَفِلُ سَاعَةً كَأَنَّهُ عَلَى الرَّضْفِ".
