Ḥudhayfah saw a person who was not bowing and prostrating perfectly ˹in prayer˺. He said to him, "You have not prayed; and if you should die you would die on a fiṭrah (natural disposition) other than that of the fiṭrah of Muhammad ﷺ."

رَأَى حُذَيْفَةُ رَجُلاً لاَ يُتِمُّ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ قَالَ: مَا صَلَّيْتَ؛ وَلَوْ مُتَّ، مُتَّ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْفِطْرَةِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ اللَّهُ مُحَمَّدًا ﷺ۔

The Prophet ﷺ said "Five things are in accordance with Al Fitra (i.e. the tradition of prophets): to be circumcised, to shave the pelvic region, to pull out the hair of the armpits, to cut short the moustaches, and to clip the nails.'

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ الْخِتَانُ وَالاِسْتِحْدَادُ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ

Five are the acts quite akin to the Fitra, or five are the acts of Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubes, cutting the nails, plucking the hair under the armpits and clipping the moustache.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ أَوْ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَالاِسْتِحْدَادُ وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ

Five are the acts of fitra: circumcision, removing the pubes, clipping the moustache, cutting the nails, plucking the hair under the armpits.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ الاِخْتِتَانُ وَالاِسْتِحْدَادُ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ten are the acts according to fitra: (1) clipping the mustache, (2) letting the beard grow, (3) using the siwāk/miswāk (toothstick), (4) snuffing water in the nose ˹for cleaning˺, (5) cutting the nails, (6) washing the finger joints, (7) plucking the hair under the armpits, (8) shaving the pubic hair, and (9) cleaning one's private parts with water.

The narrator said: I have forgotten the tenth, but it may have been (10) rinsing the mouth.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ: (١) قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ (٢) وَإِعْفَاءُ اللِّحْيَةِ (٣) وَالسِّوَاكُ (٤) وَاسْتِنْشَاقُ الْمَاءِ (٥) وَقَصُّ الأَظْفَارِ (٦) وَغَسْلُ الْبَرَاجِمِ (٧) وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ (٨) وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ (٩) وَانْتِقَاصُ الْمَاءِ۔»

قَالَ زَكَرِيَّاءُ قَالَ مُصْعَبٌ وَنَسِيتُ الْعَاشِرَةَ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ (١٠) الْمَضْمَضَةَ

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters and there is no mention of his deficiency in limbs.

بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَقَالَ كَمَا تُنْتَجُ الْبَهِيمَةُ بَهِيمَةً وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ جَمْعَاءَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Said ibn Abi Said al-Maqburi from his father that Abu Hurayra said, "There are five things from the fitra: cutting the nails, trimming the moustache, removing the hair from the armpit, shaving the pubic region and circumcision."

قَالَ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ تَقْلِيمُ الأَظَافِرِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَالاِخْتِتَانُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, from the fitrah (natural disposition) are using the siwak (tooth stick), rinsing the mouth, sniffing water into the nose, trimming the mustache, cutting the nails, washing the joints (parts of the body that come into contact with the ground), plucking the hair under the armpits, shaving the pubic hair, and cleaning oneself with water after using the restroom."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ أَوِ الْفِطْرَةُ الْمَضْمَضَةُ وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقُ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَالسِّوَاكُ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَغَسْلُ الْبَرَاجِمِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبِطِ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَالِاخْتِتَانُ وَالِانْتِضَاحُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , fought in fifteen battles. Waki' narrated to us, from Fitr, from Saad ibn Ubaydah, from Al-Bara' ibn Azib, that the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to a man: "When you go to your bed, purified, say: O Allah, I have submitted myself to You, set my face towards You, entrusted my affairs to You, out of fear and desire for You. There is no place of safety and escape from You except with You. I believe in the Book You have revealed and in the Prophet You have sent. If you take my soul during my sleep, forgive it, and if you keep it alive after waking up, protect it as You protect Your righteous servants. When the man woke up, he followed the Prophet's instructions and he said: I have achieved a lot of goodness." Abdullah (ibn Mas'ud) said: My father heard this narration from Saad ibn Ubaydah, who heard it from Al-Bara' ibn Azib.

غَزَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ غَزْوَةً حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرٌ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى فِرَاشِكَ طَاهِرًا فَقُلْ (اللهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ وَلَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ وَنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ)

فَإِنْ مُتَّ مِنْ لَيْلَتِكَ مُتَّ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ وَإِنْ أَصْبَحْتَ أَصْبَحْتَ وَقَدْ أَصَبْتَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ أَبِي سَمِعَهُ فِطْرٌ مِنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Fitrah are five: Trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails, removing the pubes, and circumcision.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 10)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Fitrah are five: Trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails, removing the pubes, and circumcision.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 10)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَالْخِتَانُ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "It is part of the natural disposition (Fitrah) to trim the pubic hair, clip the nails, and trim the mustache." And Is'haq said: "Trimming the mustache is also shaving the surplus of the beard."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ حَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ مَرَّةً وَقَصُّ الشَّوَارِبِ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'The deeds connected to the Fitrah are five (or five things are connected to the Fitrah): circumcision, shaving the pubic hairs, clipping the nails, plucking the armpit hairs and trimming the mustache.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 292)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً رِوَايَةً خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Fitrah are five: Trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails, removing the pubes, and circumcision.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 10)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Fitrah are five: Trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails, removing the pubes, and circumcision.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 10)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَالْخِتَانُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The natural disposition is trimming the mustache and clipping the nails and shaving the pubic hair."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْفِطْرَةُ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ»

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Fitrah are five: Trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails, removing the pubes, and circumcision.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 10)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبِطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظَافِرِ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَالْخِتَانُ»

The Prophet ﷺ said "Five things are in accordance with Al Fitra (i.e. the tradition of prophets): to be circumcised, to shave the pelvic region, to pull out the hair of the armpits, to cut short the moustaches, and to clip the nails.' (Using translation from Bukhārī 6297)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ الِاخْتِتَانُ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظَافِرِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبِطِ»

"The Fitrah are five: Circumcision, removing the pubes, trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, and plucking the armpit hairs." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 9)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ تَقْلِيمُ الْأَظَافِرِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَالْخِتَانُ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبِطِ»

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: The inborn characteristics of man are five. Another version says: Five things are of the inborn characteristics of man: circumcision, shaving the pubes, plucking out hair under the armpit, paring the nails and clipping the moustaches. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4198)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبِطِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ»

Every child is born on Islam, but his parents make him a Jew and a Christian, just as a beast is born whole. Do you find some among them (born) maimed? The people asked : Messenger of Allah! What do you think about the one who died while he was young? He replied : Allah knows best what he was going to do. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4714)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ كَمَا تُنَاتَجُ الْإِبِلُ مِنْ بَهِيمَةٍ جَمْعَاءَ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْ جَدْعَاءَ»؟ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنْ يَمُوتَ وَهُوَ صَغِيرٌ قَالَ «اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ»

"The Fitrah are five: Circumcision, shaving the pubes, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails and taking from the mustache." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 11)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ الْخِتَانُ وَحَلَقُ الْعَانَةِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَحَلْقُ الشَّارِبِ

The Prophet ﷺ said "Five things are in accordance with Al Fitra (i.e. the tradition of prophets): to be circumcised, to shave the pelvic region, to pull out the hair of the armpits, to cut short the moustaches, and to clip the nails.' (Using translation from Bukhārī 6297)

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Fitrah are five: Trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, clipping the nails, removing the pubes, and circumcision.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 10)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظَافِرِ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَالْخِتَانُ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Ten are the acts according to fitrah (nature): clipping the moustache, letting the beard grow, using the tooth-stick, cleansing the nose (Al-Istinshaq) with water, cutting the nails, washing the finger joints, plucking the hair under the arm-pits, shaving the pubes, and cleansing one's private parts (after easing or urinating) with water. The narrator said: I have forgotten the tenth, but it may have been rinsing the mouth. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 53)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَقَصُّ الْأَظْفَارِ وَغَسْلُ الْبَرَاجِمِ وَإِعْفَاءُ اللِّحْيَةِ وَالسِّوَاكُ وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقُ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَانْتِقَاصُ الْمَاءِ قَالَ مُصْعَبٌ «وَنَسِيتُ الْعَاشِرَةَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونَ الْمَضْمَضَةُ» خَالَفَهُ سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ إِيَاسٍ

"I heard Talq mentioning ten things that have to do with the Fitrah: Using the Siwak, trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, washing the joints, shaving the pubes, rinsing the nose, and I am not sure about rinsing the mouth." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5041)

سَمِعْتُ طَلْقَ بْنَ حِبِيبٍ يَذْكُرُ عَشَرَةً مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ السِّوَاكُ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَغَسْلُ الْبَرَاجِمِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَالْخِتَانُ وَغَسْلُ الدُّبُرِ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقُ وَأَنَا شَكَكْتُ فِي الْمَضْمَضَةِ

"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Five things are of the Fitrah: Circumcision, shaving the pubes, plucking the armpit hair, clipping the nails and trimming the mustache.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5043)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَنَتْفُ الضَّبْعِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الظُّفْرِ وَتَقْصِيرُ الشَّارِبِ وَقَفَهُ مَالِكٌ

"Five things are of the Fitrah: Clipping the nails, trimming the mustache, plucking the armpit hairs, shaving the pubes, and circumcision." (Sahih Mawquf) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5044)

خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ تَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَالْخِتَانُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Fitrah (natural disposition) consists of five things: circumcision, trimming the pubic hair, plucking the armpit hair, cutting the nails, and shaving the mustache."

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ أَوْ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fixed forty days to shave the pubes, paring the nails, clipping the moustaches, and plucking the hair under the armpit. Abu Dawud said: Ja'far b. Sulaiman transmitted it from Abu 'Imran on the authority of Anas. In this version he did not mention the Prophet ﷺ. He said: Forty days were fixed for us. This is a more correct version. وَقَّتَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَلْقِ الْعَانَةِ وَقَصِّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمِ الْأَظْفَارِ وَنَتْفِ الْإِبْطِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Ten are the acts according to fitrah (nature): clipping the moustache, letting the beard grow, using the tooth-stick, cleansing the nose (Al-Istinshaq) with water, cutting the nails, washing the finger joints, plucking the hair under the arm-pits, shaving the pubes, and cleansing one's private parts (after easing or urinating) with water. [Machine] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ said: ten things are part of instinctive hygiene: rinsing the mouth, inhaling water into the nostrils, using the tooth stick (Miswak), trimming the mustache, cutting the nails, removing underarm hair, shaving the pubic hair, washing the joints, performing ablution with water, and circumcision."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الْمَضْمَضَةُ وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقُ وَالسِّوَاكُ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَغَسْلُ الْبَرَاجِمِ وَالِانْتِضَاحُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالْخِتَانُ

[Machine] He said, "I mean the natural instinct towards religion."

قَالَ يَعْنِي الْفِطْرَةَ الدِّينَ

trimming the moustache, cutting the nails, shaving the pubic hair, plucking the armpits, and using the siwak (arak stick for cleaning the teeth)."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ وَالسِّوَاكُ

circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, plucking the armpits, clipping the moustache and clipping the nails."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ الْخِتَانُ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الأظْفَارِ

circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, clipping the nails, plucking the armpits, and clipping the moustache."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ وَنَتْفُ الضَّبْعِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ

Similar to 1292.

خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ تَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَالْخِتَانُ

"أَبُو اليْقظَان عَلَى الفِطْرَة أبُو اليقظَان على الفطرة أَبُو اليقظانِ على الفِطرةِ، لا يَدَعُهَا حتَّى يموتَ أوُ يُنسِيَهُ الْهَرَمُ ".

("خَمْسُ مِنَ الفِطْرة: قَصُّ الشارب، وتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفارِ، وحَلْقُ العَانَةِ، ونَتْفُ الإِبِطِ، والسِّواكُ - وفى رواية "والخِتَانُ، مَكَان السِّوَاكِ".

"خَمْسٌ مِنَ الفِطْرَةِ: الختانُ، والاستحداد، وتقليمُ الأظفارِ، ونَتفُ الإِبِطِ، وقَصُّ الشاربِ".

"خَمْسٌ مِنَ الفِطْرَةِ: الخِتَانُ، وحَلقُ العانةِ، ونتفُ الضَّبْعِ، وتقليمُ الأظفارِ، وتقصيرُ الشارِب".

"كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يولد عَلى الْمِلَّةِ، فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِه وَيُنَصِّرانِهَ ويُشَرِّكَانِه قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله: لَمَنْ هَلَك قَبْلَ ذَلِك؟ قَال: الله أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا فِي (*) الْفِطْرَةِ عَامِلِين".

"الإِسلامُ عشرةُ أسْهُم وقد خاب من لا سهمَ لَهُ: شَهَادَةُ أَن لا إله إِلا الله: وهي الملَّةُ، والثَّانيةُ الصلاةُ وهي الفطرةُ، والثالثة الزكاةُ وهي الطهرةُ، والرابعةُ الصومُ وهي الجُنَّةُ، والخامسةُ الحجُّ وهي الشريعةُ، والسادسةُ الجهادُ وهي الغَزْوَةُ، والسابعةُ الأمْرُ بالمعروف وهو الوفاءُ، والثامنةُ النَّهْي عن المنكر وهى الحُجَّةُ، والتاسعةُ الجماعةُ وهي الألْفَةُ، والعاشرة الطاعةُ وهي العِصْمَةُ" .

"عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْفِطرَةِ: قَصُّ الشَّاربِ وإِعُفَاءُ اللِّحْيَةِ، والسِّواكُ، واستنشاق الماءِ، وَقصُّ الأظفارِ، وَغَسْلُ البراجِم, ونَتْفُ الإِبط, وَحَلقُ العَانَة, وانْتقَاصُ الماءِ، قَال مُصعَبٌ: وَنَسيتُ الْعَاشِرَة إِلا أَنْ تَكونَ: المَضْمَضَةَ؟ .

"الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ: الْختَانُ، والاسْتِحْدَادَ، وتَقْليمُ الأَظْفَارِ، وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ، وَقَصُّ الشَّارِب" .

"الْفِطرَةُ خَمْسٌ، الخِتَانْ، وحَلْقُ الْعَانَة، وَنَتْف الإِبْط، وتَقْلِيم الأَظْفار، وحَلْق الشَّاربِ" .

"Every Muslim is upon the fiṭrah (natural disposition)."

"الْفِطْرَةُ عَلَى كُل مُسْلِم" .

"السِّوَاكُ من الفطْرَةِ".

"مِنَ الفِطْرِة: حَلْقُ العَانَة، وَتَقْليمُ الأَظْفَار، وقصُّ الشاربِ".

"مِنَ الفِطرةِ: الْمَضْمضَةُ، والاستِنْشَاقُ، والسِّوَاكُ، وقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ، وتَقْلِيمُ الأظفار، ونَتْفُ الإِبِطِ، والانْتِضَاحُ، والاختتانُ".
