the Messenger of Allah used to fast three days of each month: Monday at the beginning of the month, the following Thursday, then the Thursday after that.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَصُومُ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ يَوْمَ الاِثْنَيْنِ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ وَالْخَمِيسَ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ ثُمَّ الْخَمِيسَ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ

"I entered upon the Mother of the Believers and heard her say: 'The Messenger of Allah used to fast three days of each month: The first Monday of the month, then Thursday, then the following Thursday."

دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَمِعْتُهَا تَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَصُومُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ أَوَّلَ اثْنَيْنِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ ثُمَّ الْخَمِيسَ ثُمَّ الْخَمِيسَ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ

[Machine] I heard Ibn Umar say, "The Prophet ﷺ used to fast three days every month: on the first Thursday, the Monday that follows, and the Monday that follows."

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَصُومُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ الْخَمِيسَ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ وَالِاثْنَيْنِ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ وَالِاثْنَيْنِ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ

[Machine] "We have a messenger from Allah ﷺ who said, 'Fast three days of every month, from the beginning on Monday, Thursday, and the following Thursday.'"

لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صُمْنَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ الْإِثْنَيْنَ وَالْخَمِيسَ وَالْخَمِيسَ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ»

[Machine] The translation of the passage into English is: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to fast three days every month, on Mondays and Thursdays."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ «يَصُومُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِثْنَيْنَ وَخَمِيسَ»

"صُمْنَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّام من أَوله، أَو من الشهر: الاثنين والخميس، والخميس الَّذِي يَلِيهِ".
