Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the selling of things by a town dweller on behalf of a desert dweller; and similarly Najsh was forbidden. And one should not urge somebody to return the goods to the seller so as to sell him his own goods; nor should one demand the hand of a girl who has already been engaged to someone else; and a woman should not try to cause some other woman to be divorced in order to take her place.

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَلاَ تَنَاجَشُوا وَلاَ يَبِيعُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ تَسْأَلُ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلاَقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْفَأَ مَا فِي إِنَائِهَا

A man must not make proposal of marriage to a woman when his brother has done so already. And he must not offer a price for a thing for which his brother had already offered a price; and a woman must not be combined in marriage with her father's sister, nor with her mother's sister, and a woman must not ask to have her sister divorced in order to deprive her of what belongs to her, but she must marry, because she will have what Allah has decreed for her.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَخْطُبُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ يَسُومُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلاَ عَلَى خَالَتِهَا وَلاَ تَسْأَلُ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلاَقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْتَفِئَ صَحْفَتَهَا وَلْتَنْكِحْ فَإِنَّمَا لَهَا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهَا

" The person should not purchase in opposition to his brother."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ أَوْ يَتَنَاجَشُوا أَوْ يَخْطُبَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ أَوْ يَبِيعَ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ تَسْأَلِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلاَقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْتَفِئَ مَا فِي إِنَائِهَا أَوْ مَا فِي صَحْفَتِهَا زَادَ عَمْرٌو فِي رِوَايَتِهِ وَلاَ يَسُمِ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ

Do not outbid in a sale in order to ensnare. No man should enter into a transaction in which his brother has already entered, and no dweller of the town should sell on behalf of the villager. And no man should make a proposal of marriage which his brother has already made and no woman should ask for the divorce of another (co-wife) in order to deprive her of what belongs to her.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَنَاجَشُوا وَلاَ يَبِعِ الْمَرْءُ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ يَبِعْ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَلاَ يَخْطُبِ الْمَرْءُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ تَسْأَلِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلاَقَ الأُخْرَى لِتَكْتَفِئَ مَا فِي إِنَائِهَا

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Do not artificially inflate prices, a resident should not sell for a Bedouin, a man should not offer more for something that has already been bought by his brother, no one should propose marriage to a woman when someone else has already proposed to her, and no woman should try to bring about the divorce of her sister, in order to deprive her of the blessings that she has.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لاَ تَنَاجَشُوا وَلاَ يَبِعْ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَلاَ يَبِعِ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ يَخْطُبْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ تَسْأَلِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلاَقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْتَفِئَ مَا فِي إِنَائِهَا

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يَبِيعَنَّ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَلاَ تَنَاجَشُوا وَلاَ يُسَاوِمِ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ يَخْطُبْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ وَلاَ تَسْأَلِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلاَقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْتَفِئَ مَا فِي إِنَائِهَا وَلِتُنْكَحَ فَإِنَّمَا لَهَا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَهَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A man should not sell his brother's property, nor propose to a woman who is engaged, and a woman should not demand the divorce of her sister in order to be free to marry her husband, for she only has what Allah has written for her."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَبْتَاعُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ عَلَى خِطْبَتِهِ وَلَا تَشْتَرِطُ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلَاقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَسْتَفْرِغَ صَحْفَتَهَا فَإِنَّمَا لَهَا مَا كَتَبَ اللهُ ﷻ لَهَا

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Do not artificially inflate prices, a resident should not sell for a Bedouin, a man should not offer more for something that has already been bought by his brother, no one should propose marriage to a woman when someone else has already proposed to her, and no woman should try to bring about the divorce of her sister, in order to deprive her of the blessings that she has.'" قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَلَا تَنَاجَشُوا وَلَا يَزِيدُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى بَيْعِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ عَلَى خِطْبَتِهِ وَلَا تَسْأَلُ امْرَأَةٌ طَلَاقَ أُخْتِهَا

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ prohibited selling an item that someone else already intended to buy, or competing with someone in a transaction, or a man proposing marriage to a woman who has already been proposed to by his brother, or selling something that belongs to his brother. A woman should not ask her sister for a divorce just to take what is in her dowry or her utensils; instead, she should marry, for her sustenance is from Allah.

Abu Hurairah reported the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “ A man should not seek the hand of a woman in marriage when his brother has already sought her hand.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2080)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَسْتَامُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَخْطُبْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَلَا تَنَاجَشُوا وَلَا يُسَاوِمِ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَخْطُبْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا تَسْأَلِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلَاقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْتَفِئَ مَا فِي إِنَائِهَا وَلِتُنْكَحَ فَإِنَّمَا لَهَا مَا كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهَا

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "None of you should propose to his brother's fiancee, nor should he outbid his brother's sale, and a woman should not marry her paternal or maternal aunt, and do not ask for a divorce for your sister so that she can collect her dowry, but let her marry, for she only has what Allah has written for her."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يَخْطُبُ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَسْتَامُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا وَلَا تَسْأَلُ طَلَاقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْتَفِئَ صَحْفَتَهَا وَلِتُنْكَحَ فَإِنَّمَا لَهَا مَا كَتَبَ اللهُ لَهَا

One should not combine in marriage a woman with her father's sister, or her mother's sister. (Using translation from Muslim 1408e)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا وَلَا تَسْأَلُ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلَاقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْتَفِئَ مَا فِي صَحْفَتِهَا فَإِنَّ لَهَا مَا كُتِبَ لَهَا»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A woman should not ask for the divorce of her sister's husband in order to benefit from what is in her possession, for her sustenance is only from Allah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَسْأَلِ الْمَرْأَةُ طَلَاقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْتَفِئَ مَا فِي صَحْفَتِهَا فَإِنَّمَا رِزْقُهَا عَلَى اللهِ ﷻ»

"لَا يَخْطُبُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَحْيه، وَلَا يَسُومُ عَلَى سَوْمِ أَخيهِ، وَلَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرأَةُ عَلَى عَمَّتِهَا، وَلَا عَلَى خَالتِهَا، وَلَا تَسْأَلُ الْمَرأَةُ طَلاقَ أُخْتِهَا لِتَكْفِيءَ صَحْفَتَهَا وَلْتَنْكِحْ، فَإِنَّمَا لَهَا مَا كَتَبَ الله لَهَا".
