I said, "Did you hear that from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" He said, "No, but Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As told me. He said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Indeed, it will be a migration after migration. The best of the people of the earth will be those who adhere to the migration of Ibrahim. The worst of the people of the earth will remain, and Allah will make them bear their punishment in life and in the Hereafter, and He will gather them with monkeys and pigs in Hell.'" [Machine] We performed Hajj and passed through the route of Al-Munkadir, and at that time people were taking a wrong path. So, we got lost. I said, "We were like this when we were in a barren land, it appeared as if rain poured upon us from the earth." Then, he asked, "Do you know where you are?" I replied, "No." He said, "You are in Al-Raba'ib, and this white hill that you see is the bones of Bakr ibn Wail and his companion. And this is the grave of Kulayb and his brother Muhallil." Then, he guided us towards the right path. After that, he said, "Here is a man who was a companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . Do you have any connection with him?" I said, "Yes." So, he took us to a sheikh with white eyebrows wearing a turban in a dome called Adam. We asked him, "Who are you?" He replied, "I am Al-Adda’as bin Khalid, the knight among the companions during the pre-Islamic era." We asked him to narrate a hadith about the Prophet ﷺ . He said, "We were with the Prophet ﷺ when Qummat was praised by someone and he seemed frightened. Then, he returned and said, 'Beware of the three deceivers.' Ibn Mas'ud asked him, 'Are you not warning us about the one-eyed Dajjal and the liar who claims false prophecies? Who is the third?' He replied, 'It is a man who will emerge among a people, with the first and the last cursed and his curse will last in the tribulation of the last days. He is the false messenger. Doesn't he eat the slaves of Allah?' Muhammad ﷺ added, 'And he is the farthest among the people in lineage from al-Shaybaz ibn Shart ibn Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Ishaq, when narrating a hadith, it is not appropriate to say that it was narrated from so-and-so and so-and-so, while I haven't verified their reliability.'" Ibn Khuzaymah narrated this hadith according to the conditions of Sahih, and he is the example in this field. This hadith is weak, mentioned once.

As for the giver of admonition, he gives a great amount of wealth without considering himself superior and holds a small amount of his rights. As for the supported one, he is given victory over his enemy. He is given half of what the Prophet ﷺ used to be given, and his enemy is terrified of him for a distance of two months. The supported one terrifies his enemy for a distance of one month. As for the guided one, he will fill the earth with justice as it was filled with injustice, and the cattle and wild animals will feel secure, and the earth will throw out its treasures." He said, "I said, 'What are its treasures?' He said, 'Golden and silver dishes.'"

Then he said: "Do you know what three things he supplicated with in it?" I said: "Yes." So he said: "Inform me of them." So I said: "He supplicated that their enemies would not be apparent to them from other than themselves, and that they would not be destroyed by their ranks and years. So He granted him that and He supplicated that He would not let their punishment be amongst themselves, so He prevented them."

Then a faction will appear in Shawwal, followed by commotion in Dhul-Hijjah. Then the sacred limits will be violated in Muharram, and death will occur in Safar. The tribes will then dispute in Rabee' al-Awwal. Astonishment, the greatest astonishment, will occur between Jumada I and Rajab. Then a she-camel that is used for carrying water will be better than a treasure of a hundred thousand."

[Machine] I was narrated to by 'Adi ibn Hatim, while he was by my side in Kufa. So I approached him and said, "I heard a narrative about you, so tell me about it." He said, "When the Prophet ﷺ was sent, I detested him more than anything I ever detested. Then I traveled to the farthest lands of the Arabs, and I detested him even more. Then I traveled to the land of the Romans, and I despised him even more. So I said to myself, 'I will go to this man and if he is truthful, I will listen to him. But if he is a liar, then it won't harm me.' So I went to him and asked him. He said, 'You are asking about a matter that is not permissible for you in your religion.'"

Then it was as if I perceived hesitation from him, so he said, "O 'Adi ibn Hatim, embrace Islam, you will be safe." He repeated this twice. Then he said, "It seems to me, or maybe I suspect, or as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Perhaps what prevents you from accepting Islam is that you see the people around us, who are high-ranking individuals.' Then he said, 'Have you seen al-Hirah?' I said, 'No, but I am aware of its location.' He said, 'It is likely that al-Zuayna will move from al-Hirah to another place without being besieged, and it will encompass the Kaaba. And the treasures of Kisra will be opened for us. I said, 'Kisra, the son of Hurmuz?' He said, 'Yes, Kisra, the son of Hurmuz. And soon, a person will not find anything of his own wealth to give as charity.'" He also said, "I saw al-Zuayna move, and I swear that the second promise will be fulfilled, as stated by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and it is the truth."

[Machine] "Before the Day of Judgment, there will be chaos," they asked, "What is the chaos, O Amir?" He replied, "Killing." We said, "We already kill. We kill more than one hundred thousand a year, if Allah wills." He said, "I am not referring to your killing of the polytheists, but rather killing each other." We said, "But we have our minds at that time." Abu Musa said, "Most people will lose their minds at that time, and they will be replaced with worthless people who think they are on something, but they are on nothing. By Allah, I do not find any guidelines for me or for you if that happens to me and to you, in what we recite from our Lord's book and what our prophet entrusted to us, to avoid going astray as others did."

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ : "The emergence of a beast will occur after the rising of the sun from its setting place. When it emerges, it will strike Satan while he is in prostration and believers on Earth will enjoy a period of forty years during which they will not desire anything except that they will be granted it, and they will find it. There will be no injustice or oppression during this time, as all things will have submitted willingly or unwillingly to the Lord of the worlds. The predators will not harm any animals, and believers will continue to give birth without experiencing death until forty years after the emergence of the beast from the Earth. At that point, death will return to them. The believers will then experience the hastening of death, such that there will be no believer left. The disbelievers will say, 'We used to be terrified of the believers, but now none of them remain, and no repentance will be accepted from us.' They will be filled with turmoil and roam the roads like cattle. One of them will have relations with his mother, sister, and daughter publicly on the road, while another person witnesses and does not object or change it. On that day, the best among them will be the one who says, 'If only you had avoided this road, it would have been better.' This will continue until no one is left from the descendants of legitimate marriages, and the people of the Earth will be offspring of adultery, the worst of people. Allah will then cause barrenness in women's wombs, lasting for thirty years, during which no woman will give birth and no child will be found on the Earth. All of them will be children of fornication, the most evil of people. This is a subject on which I, Muhammad bin Thabit bin Aslam al-Bunani, narrate, from the noblest of the people of Basra and the offspring of the companions, except for Abdullah bin Wahb bin Husayn, who is unknown."

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Indeed, Allah sends, at the beginning of every century, someone who renews the religion for it.' So rejoice, O Judge, for Allah has sent 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz at the beginning of the century, and He has sent Muhammad ibn Idris al-Shafi'i at the beginning of the two hundred, and you are at the beginning of the three hundred. Al-Qadi says: 'Two have already passed, and blessings upon 'Umar the caliph, and blessings upon al-Shafi'i, the upright and determined, Muhammad, the inheritor of prophethood, and the cousin of Muhammad, rejoice, O Abu al-'Abbas, for you are the third after them, a drink for the soil of Ahmad.' The Qadi then shouted, Abu al-'Abbas, may Allah, the Most High, have mercy upon him, cried, and said: 'I consider myself to be the person mentioned in the story.' A group of my companions informed me that they were present in a gathering of the Imam, Abu al-Tayyib Sahl ibn Muhammad ibn Sulaiman, and this story was mentioned, and they related it to him in my presence. In the gathering was Abu 'Amr al-Bistami, the jurist, the Arja'i, and he began at that time, and the fourth renowned person, Sahl Muhammad, became an imam for every monotheist, where the Muslims sought refuge in him with their lives in knowledge. If they went out, he was indeed a great supporter. Between us, the sheikh of al-War, the renewer of the chosen school, remained the most praiseworthy. So, I asked the jurist, Abu 'Amr, in my gathering, and he recited it to me."

When we were around the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he mentioned the period of commotion (fitnah) saying: When you see the people that their covenants have been impaired, (the fulfilling of) the guarantees becomes rare, and they become thus (interwining his fingers). He replied: Keep to your house, control your tongue, accept what you approve, abandon what you disapprove, attend to your own affairs, and leave alone the affairs of the generality. She said, 'I have seen Islam even if they all gathered to eat a sheep, they wouldn't eat it.' Then she said, 'O my son, die noble and do not surrender.' Abdullah said, 'Where are the people of Egypt?' They said to him, 'At the gate of Banu Jumah.' It was the most crowded gate. He carried his sword and attacked them until they reached the market. He said, 'And surely Khubayb used to strike them with his sword from behind, saying, 'Carry on, no one should enter upon him.' Then he would carry on and they would be exposed.' He said, 'When they saw that, they went inside Aswad. And when they saw him, they turned around to attack him.' He entered upon Aswad until he was between the curtains of the Kaaba. When he came to him, Ibn Al-Zubayr struck him and pierced his two legs. He said, 'Then he woke up and started blaming himself.' He recognized them and denied recognizing me, so he pushed me away and took my place. I performed my prayer, but I could not concentrate. After he finished his prayer, he said, "O my son, may Allah not harm you! I did not do what I did out of ignorance. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, 'Be in the row that follows me.' When I saw the people's faces, I recognized them except for you." Then he sat down, and I saw that no one turned their heads towards anything except for him. It was Ubay ibn Ka'b, and what he said was, "The people of the written contract have perished, by the Lord of the Ka'bah, the people of the written contract have perished." By Allah, I wasn't worried for them, but I was worried for those who destroyed them from among the Muslims.
